A short 90-minute chapter with simple character relationships and a fixed focus on one protagonist. The shots are clean and the narrative low-key and calm, like the weather in Iceland. The male protagonist, Foss, is warm, kind, innocent, lonely and good at hobbies, silent and omnipotent, bears all bullying and hurts without complaining, and is as generous as a mountain. The view is clear and warm.
However, the last godlike smile revealed the director's intentions and ambitions. If it was just the pure description above, it would make people moved by the innocence and beauty of people like Foss, or if there was no last smile, he just silently looked at the clouds outside the plane window. This momentary smile, just like the smile of a god or God to all living beings, makes all the beauty of Foss in the story, like a saint, reflects the shortcomings of ordinary people, even his girlfriend is dispensable, Just to set off his great dedication, he is simply perfect, and even the prefix of virgin is to make his perfection more pure.
If there is no last smile, it will be a beautiful story to believe, and there are many such people in reality. But that extra laugh turned the movie into a godmother. It makes Foss no longer an ordinary person who is sympathetic and admirable, and has become a role model for educating all living beings.
I still think it's good to just narrate, even if it's fragmented, without any opinions or deliberate themes. As soon as there is a theme, it becomes mediocre. Or if you have to have a theme, you can't see the theme by hiding it.

In the film, the director mocked some so-called normal people, making them seem so insignificant in front of Fox, and finally apologized to Fox. The director portrayed Fox as a mirror, a mirror like a saint, noble and stalwart, disliking the faults of ordinary people, and even depression is synonymous with self-pity and laziness.
