Watching this film, it was also aimed at Matthew at first, and I liked Chandler in Friends too much. Although I already knew that this film was completely different, but when I actually started watching it, I was still a little surprised.
Such a topic is serious and a little boring, a little heavy. The close-up shots of many eyes and expressions, the kind of confusion and helplessness, make people uncomfortable.
Split personality. Struggling, can't find an exit. despair.
Drugs, counseling, family, sex, all seemed powerless.
Life is so far, even love can't redeem it, what else can it be?
The film is not long, the rhythm is not fast, and sometimes it is meticulous and even trivial. I thought the ending would be a little brighter, but still no solution. After turning around, it seems to have returned to the original point, although with a different state of mind. When everything is destined to be unchangeable, is it only acceptable to accept it?
The movie that was shown in the psychology class at the time was Soul Catcher. I think this movie is also worthy of reference. In reality, there are not so many happy endings.
It sucks, but you have to deal with it. This is life.
