The end of the flower, the perfect ending

Finally, "The King: Eternal Monarch", which lasted less than two months, ushered in the finale.

First of all congratulations, the end of the flower!

In my opinion, the finale of this drama, which has been controversial since its inception, is at least personally satisfying.

I won't give an overview of the whole drama here. If you are interested, you can go and see it yourself. I believe you won't be disappointed. The premise is that you have a good brain, hahahaha.

I did not analyze the plots of episodes 15 and 16, because after the previous analysis basically matched, everyone can basically guess the later plots, so I didn't write any more.

So today, let me briefly talk about my personal opinion on this drama.

In fact, the theme of parallel worlds has been common in recent years, but everyone is still interested every time it appears. I think this should be people's yearning for parallel universes.

In this drama, it can be said that the appearance, acting skills, IQ, and all members are online. There are no major loopholes or logical conflicts in the plot.

Some people say that yesterday's ending was too bland and light, but it's not.

In the episodes of 13.14.15, the plot has actually been ups and downs, and it is full of dramatic colors. It has been said in the previous analysis post that Li Gun will definitely reverse the past, and he is indeed making efforts in this regard in episode 15, including the adult Li who rescued him at the beginning of the first episode. Gun, it can be seen that Li Gun is indeed working hard for this, and the last episode is just a success after the last battle, and it will eventually succeed. The final episode also fits perfectly with the development of the overall story and the story at the end of it.

It can only be said that the previous foreshadowing was too successful and the atmosphere created was too strong, but it was by no means a failure. It was not until the next two or three episodes that the hole was filled, so that the audience could not have a good transition from the nervous mood, so I gave it to the film. The ending is too bland. But not so. Friends who are serious about the drama will readily accept such an ending and know where to stop.

I fully understand the "obsession" of most audiences with be and open endings. After all, the reason why Liang Zhu is a classic is that many people see the sadness after turning into a butterfly. But from the perspective of the whole market, the high sweetness and perfection of the other way are also the reasons for selling these years.

One of the interesting points of episode 16 is that Li Gun traveled through many universes, looking for the time and space where Taiyi was, and met "Taiyi" in every time and space, doing various occupations. One of them is an actor. I don't know if our Kim actors are so "narcissistic" and cute after winning the big award in reality. (Jin Gao Yin is really a treasure with thousands of faces)

Tell me about the pros and cons of this show. Let's talk about the advantages first.

1. Unique settings. In a traditional oriental country like Korea, on the premise that we have long abandoned the monarchy, the setting of the royal family in modern society is what attracts me most to this drama. Whether it's 1994 or 20 years, the strong and unique "tradition" of the Korean Empire can be seen, and people can't help but wonder, if our country also follows this system, then what will we look like today? Of course it's just an imaginary.

2. The plot is compact as a whole, without redundant narratives and show-off skills, step by step, so that the audience has a strong sense of substitution, and there is a sense of tension that if you miss a second, you will lose clues.

3. In fact, this type of Korean drama always has a big theme, that is fate. This drama also interprets what destiny is, and what choices should we make when destiny comes, maybe as the drama says, "fall in love with our destiny". (It's just love here)

Disadvantages

1. The editing of this show has always been "criticized", because the brain-burning plot plus a one-week blank period, mixed with this kind of flashback and interlude editing is really a headache, and it also makes people analyze. time hindered.

2. The protagonists in the play, Shin Jae and Prime Minister Goo, the rationality of the existence of the characters is for the sake of existence. I always thought that Prime Minister Goo would fight back to some extent in the last episode, but he didn't. As a dazzling character second only to Li Gong, Xin Zai did not promote the development of the plot very well, but more of an emotional drama.

3. The filling part is a bit too tight. There is not a step-by-step, intriguing, layered sense of reverberation. I don't question Jinbian's ability, but most of the 14 episodes seem to be coming to an end, so I have to give An official and accurate response from the audience.

4. Respond to the first point in the strengths. The scenes of the empire are a bit less in the back, except for the introduction at the beginning of the episode, which does not make people feel the special features of the imperial system.

Despite this, it still does not prevent it from being a good drama. As for whether it can become a classic, we will see it later.

In terms of emotional lines, the more touching point is, "I will open the doors of all universes, just to find you, like you can't do it, it's you." This setting and the time travel of the following two people can be said to be 100% sugar.

Personally, I have always liked and supported this drama very much. At the same time, the two leading actors are also young actors I like very much, especially our Kim Kawaii.

In fact, film and television dramas with this theme will always have a hidden human nature problem, and it is more strongly expressed in the monarch drama.

That is, if there really is a parallel universe, and you in another world are better off than you are now, would you choose to do whatever it takes to get their living environment?

I believe that there will not be an accurate and neutral answer to this question, because human nature is unpredictable. If you have to believe in something, then believe that everything is the best arrangement.

Although there are a lot of reluctance and a good vision for the play, we have to face the reality of the ending.

The small-screen comeback of the male and female lead actors is relatively successful in my opinion as an audience, and Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun are also very suitable for such fantasy-themed works. Looking forward to the next work of the two actors here.

Finally, I recommend two American dramas about and involving parallel universes. I have to say that American dramas are better in this regard.

One is "Relative Universe" by JK Simmons, which is strongly recommended; the other is "The Flash", a super-British drama by CW. This one can be simply read and join in the fun. After watching the theory of parallel time and space in these two dramas, I believe that I will be able to better understand the plot clues of the monarch.

In the end, I made a call for the real name of this drama, and I also hope that our Kim Go-yin naughty ghost can win her real "grand prize" this year and next year with her superb acting skills in this work.
