"Funny, Turkish for Beginners"
No, this is not an easy way to learn XX language.
This is a movie made by the United States and Germany! An Introduction to Turkish "Türkisch für Anfänger - Der Film (2012)".
The film is adapted from the popular German TV series that began airing in 2006. In the TV series, it tells the story of a German woman living with a Turkish policeman. The two have a son and a daughter to form a chaotic and lively family.
But this is a movie, not that TV show!
In 2012, the German film publishing giant Constantin saw the huge response brought by the TV series and put it on the big screen, still using the original actors.
The German actor Josephine Prois, who plays the daughter of the woman in the play, and Elias Mubarik, the Turkish actor who plays the man's son, have extremely high popularity. The two developed from a happy enemy to a pair of lovers. The film version mainly revolves around their stories.
Of course, in order to meet the requirements of small investment and big scenes, the story is set on a small island in the Amlaman Sea in the Indian Ocean (Phuket also belongs to that sea area)!
Then, in order to save the characters, the director set up a holiday flight of a German tourist and made an emergency landing in the sea area. A small boat carried the above-mentioned two absolutely original protagonists, together with a pair of male and female supporting characters, drifted away, and came to the island alone!
After that, there are cutscenes and jokes, packages and baggage. Anyway, the German woman and the Turkish police (parents of both) who stayed in the hotel felt that it was good for the children to stay on the island. There must be no drugs and alcohol!
Also add life experience! Ha ha!
Indeed, where are they Robinsons, they eat and drink, have no worries, they are occasionally native, and they can speak German! It's really a world outside the original ecological hotel!
We also see several important German elements.
1. Before the Turkish police took their children to the airport, they used a weighing machine to weigh all three pieces of luggage;
2. They were on the island, and the hero and heroine were still holding a book and read two pages from time to time;
3. Comments on rap music and the American drama "LOST" and Lady Gaga's concert are full of American elements!
Well, this is a comedy, adapted from a popular German TV series, with one more window to observe abroad!
By the way, at the end of the film, there is an episode of going to the bathroom, and at the end, the hero's sister took out a suspected bomb from the toilet, and she mustered up the courage to pull the wire or press the switch!
Recalling the beginning of the film, on the way to the airport, the German woman said to her sister, "Look at the woman in the car next to her who is wearing a headscarf (Muslim), maybe she will throw a bomb at you!"
Oh, German, your humor doesn't hurt. Get up!
