Marvel is really going astray. Jessica Jones had this tendency. By depicting that superhero is as emotional, hurt, and stupid as people, he won the audience's sympathy and recognition, so that the hero is no longer omnipotent and invincible.
When we arrived at DD, the second season also focused on describing his confused period, so we saw an irresponsible man who was taken by his ex-girlfriend to run around the streets, who couldn't go to court after falling asleep, and who just quit his job as a lawyer in the later period. The DD who just touched his ex-girlfriend's scar just after confirming his relationship with his sister and felt distressed... also called it a period of confusion, disappointed with the judicial system and doubted about himself Blablablabla. That's right, such a DD is flesh and blood, but Marvel doesn't think about it, does the audience really want to see such a DD?
It is necessary to have a little struggle and discouragement, but if the character design is so broken, can the story look good when shot? The dark side of the hero or something, just click here, don't mess up the whole story in order to create a hero in a lost period. Even Kingpin, who played so little, was brilliant, not to mention grabbing the Punisher that I was already madly in love with. Erica is like that. She runs around with DD every day, and she really can't love her.
After Karen was bombarded with bullets and protected by Uncle Penalty, DD was actually angry when she saw Karen for not calling him. He lied a lot himself, and even mocked Karen for not telling the truth to the police. In the end he kept yelling that Karen couldn't protect himself. Not to mention how badly Foggy was hurt by him. Nurse Claire even pointed out his problems-abandoning relatives, abandoning friends, one person thought he could protect the whole city (the people he protected were also tortured by Nobu in the end).
Such an arrogant, arrogant and selfish DD took a full 13 episodes and really needs the audience's love and support to the end. Heroes are heroes because they are better than ordinary people. Give me the tone of "heroes are also people and scumbags". Marvel will consume the feelings of the audience and make Luke Cage into this style. Then I think the Defenders League should be changed to a scumbag mentality. Therapeutic support group too.
I read an interview with the screenwriter of the second season of DD on the Internet, and said that everyone was so excited that they often wrote about Erica and Uncle Punishment together, and forgot about DD. It is estimated that the addition of new characters will really affect the performance of the protagonist, especially when the supporting characters are too charming and crucial to the plot.
Three of my favorite scenes of the season.
1. Punish Uncle Prison one to ten, and Jin Biaoda said that he would chop you up next time he saw you.
2. Foggy's opening speech.
3. Punish Uncle to be a human shield to protect Karen (To be honest, I will become a fan girl in minutes when I meet this kind of man).
