To be honest, the beginning and middle of this drama are not quite up to the mark. The hard magic stalks, the expected reversal of the plot, and even every time the male protagonist deliberately falls into being shot and shows the awesomeness of the whole layout.
In fact I don't think a magician would ever put himself in the most dangerous situation if it were a perfect layout. But as the title says, it needs to go deeper. The male protagonist's younger brother Jonathan is the sublimated character of the show in my opinion (in addition, I think the heterochromatic pupil is an old-fashioned and uninteresting villain female character)
The magicians in the play tried their best to deceive, create illusions, and even steal the day, but in fact, the only one who told the truth was the fortune-teller Vivian. Jonathan was kind and innocent, but the darkness in his heart continued to expand. And the exaggeration isn't because Jonathan is in jail, it's what he told Cam himself in the last episode: I'd like to get out but not with you. The darkness in Jonathan's heart has always come from Cam's brilliance. And Heterochromatic Hitomi was the first to discover Jonathan's bright spot and truly fell in love with him. From the last episode, when she personally said that Cam didn't have a girlfriend yet, she had actually confirmed Jonathan's identity, and at the beginning of all this, the car accident and the change of the body were negotiated by Jonathan and Heterochromatic Hitomi, and Why not kill Cam in the first place or put the blame on him to get the last treasure.
In fact, thinking about it this way, everything can be explained, every urging is not to get out quickly. In fact, Jonathan had several chances to knock his brother down and change his identity before he got the map, since he really wanted to Freedom, a person with a simple heart and a dark heart who can do whatever he wants without any restraints can already be free. It's all for the treasure map that Cam pulls out in front of him at the end. And Cam and Jonathan's happy celebration and the celebration feast when they caught Heterochromatic pupils can be talked about. The elder brother celebrates that his younger brother can finally be rescued, while the younger brother celebrates that the day of exchange is finally coming.
In fact, the whole show feels more like a movie to me, maybe there are too many episodes in the middle, but the ending is really good. It may not be very good and not acceptable for a drama, but for the whole story, it is really worth watching a few more episodes.
