The first is the loose structure, the second is that the plot is dull, especially the second half, I don't want to watch it. The last point is that this film beautifies the history and weakens the suspicion of cruelty, especially the dance of the Jews in the concentration camp, so that the audience does not feel that they are miserable for a second. After all, this is the history of the French who made their own country and weakened the war. The cruelty may be intentional.
All in all, The Round Up (aka The Siege of Paris) is a pretty mediocre World War II movie.
