Look at your fears, don't run away

I just watched Lovely Bones, a film of the exact same type not long ago. But I don't really understand why the two films have such a big difference in ratings. Originally, I wrote a short review on the aftermath of the viewing, but seeing that the rating is so low, there is not a single film review and discussion. Simply put, I don’t want people who are experiencing darkness to miss this film.

I don’t know if it’s changed based on real events. Watching this film, don’t care about the protagonist’s uprightness and naivety, and don’t care that the state’s public power has not played a positive role in the detection of this case (to be honest, according to the subsequent plot explanation, the routine Methods The police can't solve the case, and can only rely on the comparison of biological materials after the event), but according to the development of the plot and the actions of the protagonist to understand what the director wants to express: how to get out of the trauma.

Compared with those who are struggling in the quagmire, can those who stand on solid ground and stretch out their hands to save others feel the hardship of being unable to exert their strength under their feet, and that's OK out of good intentions, isn't it moral compulsion? Wasn't that the straw that broke the camel's back?

But then again, if others can't understand your pain, how can you understand the weakness of others, who doesn't have a shadow in his heart that the sun can't reach.

What can others do? Just like what the hero and heroine discussed in the film-the gentle hug after the event, but how can I make this a thing of the past? Compared with the cookie-cutter let it go of outsiders, perhaps looking directly at the darkness and following your heart is the only way to overcome fear. Because this is a process of self-redemption.

In fact, the shadow is also his past and a part of his life. Why should he let go of the past? Side by side with the past, will have a strong heart to face the future, right? ps. The film review was written at the end of the feature film. After writing, I saw the final sentence of the cast and crew: "This film for everyone who has lost a parent or a friend." Just right, I also hope that those who need it can see this This film can also use the hope conveyed by this film to get out of the predicament.

pps. The ending said: This film is purely fictional, any similarity is purely coincidental

ppps. "And for Sean Gervasi." and the last handsome photo mentioned with the copyright at the end is the director's father (wikipedia)

Addison Schacht: [as home movie plays] My mother died six months ago today. At the hospital, they told us she'd had an aneurysm. There was nothing I could do for her. I guess I've gotten pretty good at pretending to be okay.
