This is a relatively interesting movie, and I say interesting doesn't mean you think it's interesting. I mean, the way I watch movies is interesting.
After watching the trailer, I've been wanting to go to an academic movie theater in the basement to see this film, which is silently labeled "What If I Live To 60 and I'm Single".
Busy enough to vomit blood on Tuesday, I decided to take time out to see this precognition dream. I ordered two glasses of red wine with my girlfriend who never said no to movie invitations and sat in the movie theater that only belonged to the two of us.
Gloria, 58, has two children, independent adults, an ex-husband who left them early, a lonely love to dance, and a nanny who lives alone in a San Diego apartment with odd neighbors.
In the singles club, she looked at the hot eyes of men, and the ambiguous temptation of bowing her head and smiling. You could see her saying, come on, hug me, come on, dance.
It wasn't until she returned to her room that the cat that strayed in made her frightened, and you didn't know that this woman was lonely to the core.
Trying to hug the grandson, but being perfunctory by the son; going to the daughter's yoga class to communicate, but because the daughter's Europa lover has become bleak.
Finally met a man who took away all Gloria's loneliness, so they danced, they hugged, they kissed, they made love. Two nudes in their 60s are entangled in the heavy breathing, and the erotic scenes are not lacking any sexy because of the lack of beautiful youthful curves. The entire empty movie theater is filled with a kind of hormones of twilight years.
The romance of the night obviously reminds Gloria of this retired navy, so you see her smile so bright and full of anticipation when she goes to the appointment again, so you see sitting in the afternoon sun, listening to him read a love poem, Gloria's tears are embarrassing out of control.
So, I think probably no one really wants to live a lifetime alone.
Expect nothing good, Shakespeare said – 'Expectation is the root of all heartache'
The hidden romance, the hidden phone, disappeared again and again inexplicably, and the woman's insecurities devoured Gloria with nothing left.
The beginning of a beautiful trip and the end of embarrassment, but in the end, only the nanny at home took her back to the apartment.
There is a scene in the movie where Gloria is sitting in a group of friends listening to a chorus of a French song, and listening to a love song with such focused eyes. People who have loved but know that they are no longer are probably familiar with this emotion.
In the end, the lie could no longer cover up. She took the paintball gun he left in her car and kept shooting at this cowardly man who kept saying he loved her but never really put her in his life.
Then immediately drove away, and drove for a long, long time until I laughed.
Until she twirled in a beautiful red dress, said no to the man who invited him to dance, and danced with her firm-eyed self to a music with the same name as herself.
The director is very good at telling stories, 110 minutes, it is meaningless to think about not having a few shots.
The conclusion is that this movie may not be a guide for answering questions in the end, but I think with relish that there are different wonderful and experiences in different stages of life, so I am not in a hurry.
Ps, the female companion of her companion's love is the only EX who is left to be a Chilean man, and the city of Santiago is the place where she decided to end with this man completely. Two glasses of red wine turned into three glasses in the end.
