Let's talk about Escape From Sobibor.

Writing this name makes my heart tremble, even this is a movie I have always wanted to avoid, but I know it has always been in my heart, always, as for what effect it has on me, I have never They tried hard not to face it, because it was too painful.

I thought of "The Gadfly" again, a novel written by an Englishman. When I was very young, I accidentally got this book. At an age when I should not read this kind of book at all, I not only read it, but also read it. , entangled in it for a long time, in fact, at my young age, it was impossible to understand the story in the book, but I was shocked, deeply shocked, I sat there in a daze all day, full of The brain is full of stories about the gadfly, about the revolution, about the revolutionary party, about God, about faith, about love, about death. . . . . . When I was a child, I was a person who did not stop for a moment. I lived in the shadow of the gadfly for many years, but I never told anyone about it. Later, when I was in middle school, there was a newspaper called "Weekly TV News". In our poor life, it was a very fun thing to draw circles on it, that is, to show the broadcast time of our favorite TV programs. Circle them all, and then sit in front of the TV and wait to watch. The biggest space in the newspaper is the TV station's broadcast schedule.

Later, one day, I accidentally saw the movie "Gadfly" on it. My heart beat faster and I circled it heavily, thinking about it like a thief for a week. Then, I finished watching it. I was devastated when I saw it. I still couldn't understand the cruelty between family affection and faith, and I still couldn't understand what God was.

I dropped myself into it for a long, long time, and tried for a long, long time, trying to forget it. However, "The Gadfly" has always been there, affecting my whole life: no matter how confused or painful, I keep moving forward, even if there is a barren tomb in front of me! Strength is the only thing I can grasp.

Far too far away, I actually want to say that the film "Escape From Sobibor" had an impact on me a bit like "Gadfly", but it was not as serious. Because by the time I saw this movie, I had grown up, but I didn't understand life enough.

I don't remember when I first saw this film, maybe not 20 years, maybe 17 or 18 years ago.

It was one day when I was at home by myself, and I accidentally saw this movie being played on TV. I didn’t know the name, I didn’t see the beginning, but I saw a train approaching. After the chaotic noise, women and children were lined up to send The "shower" is actually the incinerator of the Nazis; if you see those working people working, and the clothes and items of their relatives appear in the pile of clothes in front of you, it means that the relatives are dead; After people took the opportunity to escape from prison and were captured, the Nazis not only shot them, but also viciously asked them to find someone in the crowd to accompany them to die, so 13 people died and 26 people died. People can't be calm, so what kind of mind and spirit do you need?

I watched it super nervously until the final victory disappeared into the misty woods, where my heart was still beating wildly.

At that time, I didn't know anything about the movie, and I just watched it as a story, but the level of the story that moved me was not ordinary, it was an indescribable fear, even if I watched a lot of horror movies later, I didn't have the fear.

At that time, it was still very backward, there was no Internet, and there was no information to check. In order to know what the movie was called, I went to the "Weekly TV News", and the Chinese name on it was "Escape from Subipo". In the days to come, I spent a lot of time drawing circles in that newspaper, hoping that the TV station would rebroadcast it.

I don't know how long it took, but I finally waited for the replay and watched it a second time. The thrilling feeling is still there.

"Escape From Sobibor" was filmed in 1987 and reflects a real event. The story tells that during World War II, the Nazi army established three death-row prisoners in eastern Poland, and Sobibor was one of them. In the concentration camp, almost all the ways the Nazis brutalized the Jews were assembled. For the people inside, escape was the only way out.

A tailor planned a thrilling escape in this exceptionally heavily guarded concentration camp. Finally, with the help of a Russian prisoner of war and everyone, he led a collective escape of 600 people, of which more than 300 succeeded, becoming a miracle in history.

I don't know how many movies I've watched about prison break, but this one is something I don't want to comment on. I really want to say, it's just narrated from the perspective of personal feelings.

"Escape From Sobibor" is a true story, and the tone of the whole film has been tense, not as dramatic and sometimes lighthearted as the Hollywood escape movies full of American spirit, this film, in comparison, It is very rigorous and delicate, and it is very meticulous in depicting the characters' psychological changes and feelings. This is also the only prison break movie I've seen, the only movie that uses a lot of space to describe the process of their preparation, details to each person's specific actions, and also interspersed with a lot of emotional scenes, but the real ones are unbearable. face. At the last moment, the whole process of the action is again shown in detail.

And it is these details that made me understand the movie, the Jews, their beliefs and their unremitting efforts in the years of their lives to pursue and kill those Nazis at all costs. What is it for?

I think it was this movie that filled me with reverence and even awe for Jews. Later, I spent a lot of time reading the part about Jews in the Bible, reading various books about Jewish spirit, and at the same time, I became more and more incomprehensible. Germany, a nation full of wisdom, in a country where so many wisest philosophers in human history have been born, why is there such a figure as Hitler?

Later, after watching "Schindler's List" and other similar films about Jewish stories in World War II, I put "Escape From Sobibor" first.

Because that spirit is immortal.

The film uses a little space to describe the past of those Jews.

Before the war, Sasha was a musician in Russia, writing songs and so on. He was a soldier in the war. In the film, he talked about his past in a casual way, but I understand what turned him into a man. The man who knew how to calmly analyze the situation and brilliantly planned and completed the historical feat of 600 prisoners escaped from prison. After returning to the battlefield, he was even more heroic, and he firmly testified against the heinous crimes of the Nazis in Subipo in the post-war international court.

Leon is just a tailor who can make clothes, but in the concentration camp, he became the leader, from beginning to end, he was planning this may be the greatest escape in human history, just to kill 16 When the Nazis and many soldiers were there, he hesitated, but he walked on firmly, completed his redemption, and continued to help his former inmates after the successful escape.

That cook, under the Nazi whip every day, quickly cooked meals for everyone. No matter how fast he moved, the Nazi whip was drawn mercilessly, and the blood on his head was shocking. Later, after killing a Nazi, he couldn't believe it. He can make murderous moves, his face is full of horror, but he has firmed the belief to continue.

On the assembly line for packing clothes, a tall man approached Leon, who was in need of manpower to deal with emergencies, and said, "I can use me, please say, his woman later quietly handed him a knife and asked him to Using this knife to kill a Nazi, the film shows the hesitation of an ordinary person in the face of killing, which is very real, but even more shocking.

There seem to be more details like this, so I don't need to list them one by one.

The plot structure of "Escape From Sobibor" is very simple, and there is only one main line, maybe because it is given a very heavy real meaning, so there is no way to relax from beginning to end in the process of watching, even if you can see The prisoners danced, drank, fell in love in the yard and did everything they would do in the outside world, but the feeling of being nervous was still there, lingering. For this reason, I am even more in awe of the optimism and strength of the Jewish people.

Maybe because this is the first film about the concentration camps of World War II that I have seriously watched, and therefore the memory of the Nazi officers is also profound. Wagner has also become synonymous with Nazism in my heart, for many years, many years.

There are actually a lot of characters in it, but they are all very clearly portrayed, which is also the highlight of this film. I don't know why, but I'm reluctant to comment on the performance of the actors in this film, because I didn't regard it as a performance, I regarded it as a real historical documentary, although it is irrational, but I'm not writing a thesis, I just come from my heart.

There is very little background music in the film, but it is very grand and majestic, especially in the last part, when people break through the layers of barbed wire and rush into the woods through the constantly trampled mines, the music is like a symphony. Throughout, the footage of people running, falling, climbing up and running continued for more than 10 minutes. At that moment, freedom filled everyone's heart like a volcanic eruption. Reborn firmly!

Later, I watched this movie several times, and each time, it was as if my soul was reborn.

I'd love to talk about Subipo, about Auschwitz and other concentration camps, and I've seen on TV that the Jews slowly got rich again after WWII, and in a way, they got back the world A large part of the wealth, however, the Jews never forgave the Nazis, never hunted down the Nazis at all costs, and never let them go, and finally sent them to the international court to be tried one by one, no matter which one the Nazis fled to the world In the corner, the Jews found them as if they were digging through the earth. What kind of feeling is this? Those concentration camp Jews are reserved for future generations to visit to remember history and hatred. Even so, the Germans still gave the Jews the corresponding respect.

I would love to put together the Nanjing Massacre and Japan's criminal acts in China, and then compare what the reborn Chinese nation has done in the face of these cruelties. However, I can't say anything.

"Escape From Sobibor" keeps the heaviness, yes, she left me, more of the heaviness, maybe, that's why I'm reluctant to face this movie.

However, she has always been my favorite movie.
