Pasolini has always been known as an erotic director because he is GAY, and because of the appearance of human organs in the movie, he was cursed to hell by the Holy See after his death. But this film can play a role in justifying the name. Pasolini really has nothing to do with eroticism. His most correct definition should be a humanitarian.
There are no organs and no sex scenes in this film. In fact, there are these needs in the plot. For example, the son is fornicating with a prostitute, the mother asks a friend to seduce the son, if Pasolini is erotic, what kind of erotic opportunity is this? But not at all. Because Pasolini is more concerned with the fate of people and the feelings of people living in this world. So we only see the mother who was born a prostitute hoping that her son will become a dragon, and the son fell like a dead wood that cannot be carved. The mother asked the sky: Who is responsible for all this? Why am I nothing and you are the king of kings? From this, we know the reason why Pasolini despised God: irresponsible, unfair, just an indifferent concept, high above, and has nothing to do with the world.
