It tells the story of a hard-working doctor who took on a girl's life in his heart because he was angry with an intern. It tells about the sins in the hearts of several people who are related to the girl. There are also compelling reasons for these sins. When they come together, it becomes a tragedy.
The story as a whole is calm and realistic, with almost no dramatic and complicated reversals, and no games for screenwriters and audiences. Maybe these things happen in real life. We may choose a major that we don’t like because of the shadow of our father. Maybe we didn't call an ambulance because we were afraid of a guilty conscience. We may betray our sister because of our boyfriend's arrogance. We may regret missing a girl accidentally....
The narrative rhythm of the film is very calm and the rhythm is not good. Qiang is indeed a work completed by the Darney brothers who were born in documentaries. But the whole film has no bright spots, no particularly attractive plot or setting. There are already many such works. Although this film is also highly completed, it does not give people the urge to give high marks.
