I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it, but I recently reviewed it, and I finally came to write a movie review again. I couldn’t help but complain that the computer version was really stuck. I really like this two-line parallel idol drama. The emotional line of the male and female protagonists and the social event line surrounding the kidnapping case of "Bluebeard and his seven brides". The big social line has made its pattern bigger in an instant, and it doesn't stop with idol dramas. "Women become vulnerable groups in society because of their physical strength": The main group of crimes committed by the villain Kim Jang-hyun are those women with thin bodies, who seek self-confidence as men from their inability to resist. The female protagonist, who is as thin as a pea yellow but always has infinite strength, has become a perfect fusion to resolve conflicts, and also becomes Jin Changxian's mortal enemy in the climax of the story. Of course in the story, because this major kidnapping case also discussed the issue of "misogyny". From the perspective of the female protagonist, various problems of women in public are shown: the female protagonist is physically and verbally insulted by all kinds of men because of her small figure; the female driver is touched and abused by the male driver on the road; the female is molested on the subway. The heroine's family problems: Parents prefer sons over girls, although this drama is because the heroine's mother thinks that the heroine is strong and the younger brother Fengqi is weak, so she leaves all the delicious food to the younger brother. The conflict between the heroine and the mother broke out. The voices of many despised girls came out.
Women as a backbone: I feel that there are some sexual changes, such as the male protagonist and the male second being drunk and lying on the street and being robbed of money, the female protagonist appears to carry them home; the female protagonist rescues the kidnapped woman with her own strength , including her best friend. In this drama, the heroine doesn't need the hero at all, and even the hero is distressed because the heroine doesn't need protection. Of course, in the relationship with the second male, because the second male said that he likes weak girls, the female protagonist tries to hide her strength and even pretends to be weak, which makes me think that we will always feel like a female boxer. Husbands must be miserable at home, but why can't women be strong? Why can't strong women be beautiful? Why does the bottle cap have to be unscrewed by the boyfriend? Or is this a kind of pua that we live in a patriarchal world?
Although the TV series is played that way, the gangster villain is not as clumsy, cute, and laughing as in the TV series. There is no such powerful princess as the heroine. What this show achieves is what we need to solve.
In the end, it's not to belittle, but to be honest, this drama was filmed in 2017. Every time I watch it, I sigh with emotion on the core issue it wants to express. I can only say that none of our domestic idol dramas can catch up. There will be in the future! Maybe it's also because I've never been able to resist stories of all kinds of powerful stories.
