I watched this movie at first, and it was all about lisa kudrew (sorry for cox who also starred in another movie, anyway, I don't plan to watch horror movies by myself...), but halfway through I was attracted by another actress Maggie and Billy Joel and ran away... lisa is good, but it is still difficult to adapt to seeing phoebe's wrinkled face in middle age. (Also, Lisa, who is not Phoebe, really looks like Xiaoqing in New White Lady, and Joey is like Chow Yun-fat...) The
editing and subtitles are very interesting, and so is the development of the story. In fact, when I saw the title of the film, I vaguely knew that there was probably a long and tortuous road to go before reaching such a topic. Indeed. Sometimes I think that a person's life can be summed up in just a few lines. He or she falls in love, is deceived, falls out of love, or dies. Such a long life is only a few lines in the eyes of others. Those "this is the penultimate girl he dated before he died", there are so few lines to satisfy our curiosity, what he or she went through during those long days, we're not really interested . We already have our troubles, thank God, please only give us the best and most general parts.
In life anything can happen, everything is happening. "They were together for six years", did they talk about forever?
Maggie did sing the songs in it, I think the director might be a fan of Billy Joel and used two of his songs - honesty and just the way you are. I like these two songs very much. The other one, how lucky am i, which is probably written for the movie, is also very good. Maggie's voice is very nice. But when I listened to billy joel's selection, I didn't notice the song just the way you are at the back... Maybe I wasn't focused enough at the time...
