Three coincidences, three stories. But "Blind Hits" and the later "Lola Run" are very different in theme-seemingly different roads, facing the same predicament.
In the film, the spring coils rolling on the stairs and the tennis balls thrown back and forth in the juggling show many times, which has already been a metaphor for the situation of the characters in the film. In a given social system, people actually have no choice. Whether you end up being a defender, an anti-government, or a moderator, you will never break out of the prison of the system. Within the "siege city", the fate of people can only be "Blind Hits" like a translation of the movie, in Poland, in Eastern Europe, in the former Soviet Union, in some countries.
According to Kieslowski, among the Poles these were the only three roads.
