"A story about nothing",
I remember that Seinfeld promoted it this way when it first aired.
Born in the GenZ era, I can hardly imagine what life was like in the 90s, and what kind of era would have so many classic works.
I have watched friends grow up since I was a child. He made me dream about whether I could meet family-like friends like the Gang of Six when I grew up. He made me dream about love and life as an adult.
As I grew up, I found that the life of Friends may not be realistic to me, and there are not many opportunities to laugh from the heart when I look at it again.
Of course, the TV drama itself does not need to be too realistic,
But the sense of resonance...this is really a sensory door opened by Seinfeld.
The fun can be found in simplicity, it is simple and real. There is not much plot ups and downs, emotional fluctuations, or love struggles between characters. It is completely the story of four close friends. The beginning is a friend, the end is still, always the same.
