1. Lament the cruelty of fate 2. Praise pacino's interpretation

Good film!
I just watched the film ten years ago.
It feels heavy.
Pacino’s role is portrayed as the fullest by the mafia in the film: as a person, a real person, everything is as usual except for the identity of the mafia: the beloved woman around him, the unsuspecting son, and the need to make ends meet to support his family; the same I love vanity, and I am used to calling my colleagues a friend of mine. I want to be the boss; but sometimes I have to leave everything in my mind, go to live my life, and seek relief. Pacino gradually regarded Depp as his own hope. In the eyes of both he and Depp, perhaps the relationship between the two is like a father and son.
The final ending of the film is something that everyone can think of. The fate of the two has been different from the beginning, but there is a certain overlap in it. "I am them" made Depp almost fail to complete the fbi task of his position "due diligently".
The film always reveals a cruelty, and this cruelty is for survival. Pacino knows this well, it can be seen from his repeated look at the video type.
The reality is equally cruel to pacino and depp...what
about us?
Seeking survival and protecting the family seem to be insoluble contradictions in the film. I think this must be the work's reprocessing of real events, creating contradictions, and making the film look more life, more real, and more attractive.

In addition, several details of the film make me feel the director or pacino’s skills:
1. pacino was disheartened with Depp on the left hand, tearing up the card
2. After pacino said "i love you" to Depp in the hospital , Got up and walked to the inspection window of the ward, and looked inside for the action.
3. After pacino told Depp about his red son, depp called him to tell him about the boat. During the hesitation, pacino said he was cold, halting, and like a child.
4. After Pacino showed Depp the fbi boat in the magazine, he wanted to kill Red's son. Pacino let Depp be in the front and tremblingly behind with his gun, appearing so helpless.
5. The last part of pacino leaving home. From receiving the call, bidding farewell to the woman, walking to the door, turning around and putting the belongings left for the woman, closing the drawer, and then carefully opening the drawer... classic, speechless.

PS: pacino always sticks to some gangster rules, pious Persevering in the ground, perhaps such a person is also the most reliable. It reminds me of the 108 generals of the Water Margin.

HKCEE/ The film is 3 minutes long. It's not because Uncle AL and Depp left early in the morning

As a digression, I remembered that I had read an article about Baby Annie, saying that AlPacino's undercover agent finally found out that he was going to pay for his son's study abroad before leaving home, and then went to death calmly. . . I wiped it, your brain is sick, right? ! I have always seen AlPacino as an undercover agent, it's too much.

Donnie Brasco quotes

  • Tim Curley: [referring to her husband, Joe Pistone] to Maggie, in her home, Standard procedure is that he has to check in with us every day, he might miss a day or two here and there, it was three weeks ago, we can't tell you because we don't know, there's war going on in the mafia family where Joe is undercover, three leaders of a rival faction have been murdered, he's right in the line of fire, not because he's one of us because he's one of them, who he's close to, they're all the top dogs now, it's not a problem we anticipated, we have got to pull him out

  • Lefty: [to Donnie in a bar] In all the five boroughs, I'm known, forget about it, I'm known all over the fucking world, anybody asks about Lefty from Mulberry Street, you're pissing up the world fucking street my friend
