Young and Foolish

"He is profound." Adam's father said in court.

A 17-year-old boy, the world has yet to show his unpredictable face under the veil, how "profound" is it? And so resolutely dedicated to faith, does it mean that he is like a religious fanatic in people's imagination, with a pale face, crazy eyes, and a rigid and rigid dogma?

Inspired by inexplicable impulse, the distinguished, capable and calm judge Fiona Maye made an unusual decision: She walked off the court and came to Adam's bed, wanting to see the teenager with her own eyes.

To her surprise, Adam was such a lively and agile child. Zaohui's heart cannot hide the innocence, romance, and passion for life unique to a teenager. The conversation between the two is as free as the breeze of the wild, the guitar sound flowing in the ward is jerky and moving, and every note is full of nostalgia for life.

This meeting made Maye realize the delicacy and passion of the teenager, how smart he has, his humorous and poetic attitude towards life, and the unintelligible loneliness. She wants him to live and have more opportunities to see the colorful world and experience the rich layers of life. She wants to let all his talents not be wasted in vain.

However, she didn't know that the tragedy had quietly approached at this moment.

Adam, who was forced to give up his beliefs, was even more surprised by the hypocrisy of his parents than the breaking of his beliefs. It turns out that they are not so determined, it turns out that they are fortunate that they can let their son live without having to face a decision. Obviously you don't believe in God's will wholeheartedly. Why do you prefer to let your son die for the piety in the eyes of others and not to be ostracized by the church community? How much weight do you have to your parents? Are you really loved by them?

The chaotic and helpless Adam placed all his hopes for beauty on Maye. His world no longer has clear answers, no more ironclad right and wrong. As soon as he touched the unspeakable gloom of the world, he completely lost his square inch. In between, there are large confusing and dazed no-man's land and flickering areas. He didn't understand the fifty layers of gray between black and white. He just wanted to catch the calm, sensible, determined lady who seemed to know everything about the world, and let her lead himself and put everything fragmented back on track. He firmly believes that she understands him and has everything he yearns for, as long as she is by her side, everything will be fine.

No adult can bear such a heavy burden. The rational Maye is naturally clear, but seeing Adam's hot, pure emotion without a trace of impurities, the poetic and youthful tenderness in her heart can't help but ripple with gentle ripples. But Maye knew that what she could give him was too limited. As a last resort, she could only play the role of a cold adult, and drove the young man shivering in the rain out of her world.

Also drove him into a desperate situation.

The most fragile and sensitive heart has the most staunch determination. In other words, it is precisely this sensitive, unrealistic romantic feeling that makes Adam unable to bear this lonely, desolate, and hypocritical world. He chose freedom without hesitation.

Fortunately, Maye is not like a cunning and indifferent adult, who only seeks to protect himself. Her shaking, struggling and panic in front of the piano fully showed her feelings for Adam, although it might be more of pity than love. In the end, she chose to ignore the surprise look of others, and ran to Adam's dying bed. However, what could she do?

The ignorant and sad youth, and the steady and calm middle-aged, both sides are seduced by the shining light of each other. This is probably the most common story since literature. In most stories, middle-aged people who have been polished by the world are often greedy and cowardly, eager to relive the old dream of youth, and for fear of losing the boring but nourishing daily life. So their every move is full of calculations, repeatedly weighing investment and risk. In their so-called "feelings", there are only desires and only themselves.

However, there is a mutual understanding between Maye and Adam. She understands him and admires him, so she is unwilling to use him as a supplement to her dying marriage. She put away the weakness and greed in human nature, and proved by her actions that she was worthy of his vision.

Sadly, even so, tragedy is still unavoidable.
