Inadvertently discovered the CG movie of Team Galaxy

I'm no stranger to "Starship Troopers", and I don't know how many times I read the movie version when I was young (though it's a bit unsuitable for children).

From the "Resident Evil" CG movie series, he has a good impression of CG movies. After all, it is man-made technology, and many shots that cannot be satisfied in the live-action version can be presented in CG movies.

Come back to this "Invasion". The plot has nothing to do with the movie version, but the character settings are the same as the movie. The queen is moved to the battleship, and the predator mechas appear.

Johnny is already a pivotal officer in the film. Although the queen was stabbed by Johnny in the end, Johnny didn't have many appearances in the film. More about the actions of the squad.

There are still some shortcomings of the film, that is, the production is slightly rough, but I guess it is limited by the technology at the time. Because I can see the progress of CG movies from the second "Starship Troopers: Traitors of Mars".

At the end of the movie, there is still a suspense. There is a bug that survived. It is estimated that the next one will be the story of the successful invasion.

Overall it's pretty good and worth recommending.

Starship Troopers: Invasion quotes

  • Johnny Rico: [Opening Lines] I always get the shakes before a drop. I had the injections. Hypnotic prep. The Federation shrink scanned my brainwaves. Everything checked out. Doc says it wasn't fear. I could have told him that. A horse locked in the starting gate isn't afraid. He's just ready to run.

  • Carmen Ibanez: What the hell is this about, Carl?

Dr. Carl Jenkins: Wonderful to see you again, Carmen.

Carmen Ibanez: You commandeered my damn ship.

Dr. Carl Jenkins: Borrowing it. I'll give it back.

Carmen Ibanez: You're never gonna take the John A. Warden from me.

Dr. Carl Jenkins: Guards, I believe Captain Ibanez needs an escort to the Alesia.

Carmen Ibanez: What do you want with my ship, Carl?

Dr. Carl Jenkins: Tsk, tsk, tsk. Carmen, that's classified. But I can tell you this. This mission... oh, this mission will turn the tide.

Carmen Ibanez: You always were such an asshole.

Dr. Carl Jenkins: And I was always so fond of you as well, Carmen. See you on Terra.

[Turns to leave, pauses, turns back]

Dr. Carl Jenkins: Friends always, right?
