Looking at "God Is Not Dead 2" at this time, the mentality is completely different from the past.
A history teacher answered students in class about the similarities between Martin Luther King and Jesus’ ideas, and was reported by other students to teach in class. The female teacher did not agree to admit that she was wrong and let this matter go by. She is obliged to answer the questions raised by students in class. What's more, she didn't teach and indoctrinate in class. Most importantly, she just retelled the record about Jesus in the Bible. The teacher and the school refused to give in, and a lawsuit started like this.
The process was difficult, and the debate in the court was also very exciting. It's just that I still don't quite understand how to prove that Jesus is a person in history. (Perhaps because I didn't have time to think carefully when I watched it)
Another clue is that the silly Chinese student, after asking multiple questions to the pastor, decided to return to the country to preach. The Chinese students in the movie will inevitably think of themselves. When they first read the Bible, they were one problem after another. Sometimes after solving one problem, more problems come again. Fortunately, the more discerning and clearer the reason, the more you think, the closer you are to God.
In addition, I saw that some people said that the film was not too rigorous. Chinese students speak Cantonese and his bureaucratic father speaks Mandarin. I told me that it is not realistic for a film to be perfect. Just watch the film and understand its spirit. Many Chinese actors in American dramas also act out as soon as they speak, so don't care about the details in this regard.
In general, what touched me the most in these two films is the attachment of the believers. When I go to bed at night, I always think of the female teacher returning home at night thinking about the lawsuit during the day and saying "Lord, I need you." please come into my life". Because I pray to the Lord in the same way these days. I always believe that God will make a way, Hallelujah!
PS: The interlude of the movie is also good!
