What Leto has to do is to break the myth of his father, destroy the ecological engineering, delay the speed of greening, and bring the people of the dunes back to their original environment.
And all of this was realized by Paul's death and Leto's becoming an immortal worm. So is Leto who turned into a worm person a human or a worm? Or is it a "god" in another sense with the power of sandworms that surpasses ordinary humans?
Will the progress of society be accompanied by the transformation of the original ecology and the inevitable destruction?
This seems to be an eternal paradox.
