The family members who live together do not know the cause of the mother’s death, and everyone has their own excuses for the cause of death. They choose to believe and escape. Although they all have their own lives, they always remember whether their mother was alive. Quarrel, joy or warmth, the three men feel that they know their mother very well, but their age and maturity determine their attitude and understanding of the truth. After the so-called truth was revealed, the youngest son realized that the mother he knew was still gestating another life. The secrets and truth hidden in the heart were more shocking than the artillery fire of war.

#HKIFF# The breathless depression and obscurity of European directors are also delicate enough to move. Father, mother and two sons each represent the struggling life of people of 4 different ages and stages. I like the little son’s adolescence. The confusion of adolescence is kind of weird but But I really feel like the way others narrate mental activities. It is unexpected and reasonable that my mother became a rootless person after many years as a war reporter.
