The story takes place during the First World War. Mary (Clara Bow) has a crush on the handsome Jack (Charles Buddy' Rogers), but Jack’s mind is completely Miss Silvia (played by Jobyna Ralston), but Silvia also has her sweetheart, that is, the rich boy David (played by Richard Arlen).
The war broke out. David and Jack joined the army to serve the country. In the army, the two who were rivals in love gradually became closer, and later became close friends. In a fierce battle, David encountered an accident, and the grieving Jack determined to avenge his friend. However, what Jack didn't know was that David was not dead, and he even stole an enemy plane. Just as David was driving the enemy plane back to the camp with joy, he collided with Jack, who was eager to avenge his friend.

It looks good, and in the end the two protagonists said goodbye and felt like they were kicking the cabinet door. Although it is a black-and-white silent film with no color and dialogue, it does not appear boring and lengthy. The war scenes are very large, and the excitement of the air combat is also expressed, and some amused performances are interspersed to adjust the atmosphere, which is good-looking. I like two of the plots the most. One is Jack chasing bubbles while drunk in Paris. In the war years, the hearts of young girls are like bubbles in the air. A beautiful but fragile one bursts. The second is the final confrontation between Dave and Jack. My friend went to such a point by accident, quite a sense of fate.

The film in 1927 was a real deal at the time. This film was mentioned by "Celluloid Wardrobe". It can only be said that the folk customs of the 1920s are simple and it is inappropriate to not have any close contact. The only drawback is that it is slightly verbose
