The director's films always make people happy to watch, probably because they are always full of hope for life and society. They deeply empathize with the people at the bottom of the society.
As the story in the play goes, even a child of a murderer will be noticed, even if it is the victim's father who is looking at him. When goodness is present in one person, it is estimated that this is the state. Everyone has their own pains and difficulties. What the director does is to carve time, understand and find out the root cause. Why are there so many problem children in society, are they educated responsibly after they are born? Maybe the director wants everyone to think.
A father who has lost his child tries to understand the murderer of his child, and obtains inner redemption through communication and assistance with his child. This dead knot has been tied too tightly in his heart, it is entangled with flesh and blood, and finally he tried his best to tear it apart, reconcile with himself and forgive. Although he is the son of others and has no blood relationship, he is also a simple child who does not know how to deal with his inner emotions.
Such sympathy, I really doubt it is a non-staff in cultural studies.
