I liked the director's other 'The Prince and the Princess' very much, and I also heard a lot of praise for Ji Ligu, so I borrowed the DVD. Based on the themes of African legends, there are naturally many mystical descriptions of life and growth. The men and women in the film are generously topless and do not hide all their sexual organs like Disney. The ending is a symbol of adulthood and the sex that goes with it. A lot of the far out part is the attraction of the film, especially the part that likes babble and squirrel and skunk.
Disappointed that the production is rough, not as refined as 'The Prince and the Princess', too obvious traces of computer production. The character scene design is also monotonous.
It is also a simple prince and princess, giving full play to the characteristics of silhouette animation, the color matching is more coordinated, and the picture is more beautiful. The short story seems to have a simple plot, but it is full of the sadistic taste of folk fairy tales, the praise of love and the melancholy revealed inadvertently, with a very poetic atmosphere, which is obviously a better work.
