Because it is too dark and too tragic, so disgusted. People always can't accept this fact, but this is the big background described in the movie-war.
Seeing that there are not many film reviews for this movie, then I will continue with this movie to briefly talk about war movies. The most exciting movie I have seen recently with plots and war scenes is "Furious", which is very intense and makes people excited. But do we need some inspirational war movies that serve the "conscription" in the age of peace?
The domestic war movies in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China are examples of typical inspirational war movies, very preaching and very brainwashing. It seems that this thing is needed in that era to allow people to actively participate in the war and fight for their own motherland, but what is the significance of such a movie in this age of peace? After watching movies like "Furious" or "Falling Eagle" many times, I am always full of illusions about war. I wonder what position I will be in the war once the war starts. Pilot? Tank soldiers? infantry? Sniper? Demoman? Men should use blood to baptize their growth and prove their worth with their many exploits.
But after reading Kajaki, I found that the original fantasy,,, correction, can not be said to be wrong, in short, it is out of date. The mentality we should have now is to stay away from war, understand the cruelty of war, and understand the madness and ruthlessness of the battlefield. Fortunately, I did not experience a certain war, and was not surrounded by blood and death immersively. This is the effect that a war movie in the age of peace should achieve. Rather than let more people who have never experienced war full of longing for war, it is a pity that they have not experienced it.
The current war movie should achieve a feeling of a little uncomfortable after watching it, so as to experience the horror of war. Nowadays, the three views of domestic films are not correct to an unbelievable point. Many values are wrong. I really don’t know how long this helpless status quo will last (digression).
In a word, Kajaki has achieved the desired effect of a war movie.
