"God of Cookery" is a piece of pork that has been cooked, but has not been seasoned at all, not even salt. My grading standard is generally like this. If I can tell a story well, I will give three points first. If I can express some themes and thoughts, or the plot has ups and downs, I will add one point. God of Cookery actually told a good story, but on the one hand, the level of the story is only passing, and it is as plain as boiled water. On the other hand, I can't read anything other than the story at all. For example, "Interstellar" brings me the shock of the beauty of science, "Wu Shuang" runs through the theme of genuine fakes, and "Lord of War" makes people think The original sin of the arms dealer. On the other hand, "God of Cookery" fell into a trough and made a comeback in love and career, and it's gone. If I have to say it, there is a bit of a river and lake atmosphere in Temple Street in the middle of the film. The element of "food" connects the temple and the market, but that's all. Not to mention the many scenes that make people embarrassed, and the sudden rescue of the fairy at the end. Although the fortune-telling at the beginning can be regarded as a foreshadowing, it is difficult for people to accept that the whole movie suddenly turns into a fantasy in the last ten minutes. From a plot point of view, this movie is not very qualified and then we look at the comedy side of it. Is there anything funny about him? No, there is no desire to laugh in the entire film. Not to mention that taking it with a few movies of Happy Twist is equally nonsensical, "The White-Headed Detective" can be just as funny. Speaking of black humor, it is completely incomparable with Ning Hao's films. From a comedy standpoint. . . . This is not comedy.
