The quality of the film itself is not high, some of the burdens and bridges are not funny, the plot also has some twists and turns, and the details are rough, so it is regarded as a quite satisfactory scene in Stephen Chow's film. But what surprised me is that this movie can see the shadow or prototype of some Stephen Chow movies later, so I call it a hodgepodge. Although it is not a boutique, it is rich in content.

"Journey to the West"

Seeing Stephen Chou's attitude towards the "death" of Turkey played by Karen Mok, I thought of the popular saying of Journey to the West: "There was once a sincere love in front of me, but I didn't cherish it."

Stephen Zhou actually didn't like turkeys at first. Although he fell flat, he was still an arrogant God of Cookery in his bones, and the ugly and fierce turkey naturally couldn't get into his eyes. Even after becoming famous, Turkey took the opportunity to show his heart to him many times, but he pretended not to understand, and he was only touched when he heard that she left a scar for him. 他真正发现自己爱上火鸡,是在少林寺学艺(挨揍)那段时间,回想点点滴滴,想到她为自己牺牲容颜,又牺牲性命,心中才悲痛懊悔。

However, this film has a happy ending. Not only did the "ugly" turkey not die, but it was a blessing in disguise and transformed into a beauty Karen Mok. Stephen Zhou seized the opportunity to embrace the beauty and make it a complete success. This ending is absurd, or like a beautiful fairy tale, suitable for a commercial film to celebrate the New Year, but it cannot become a classic tragedy like "Journey to the West".

" Shaolin Soccer"

Seeing Karen Mok, who is ugly before and beautiful, reminds me of Zhao Wei (A Mei) in "Shaolin Football". Interestingly, both of them also make snacks. The former uses his good arm strength to make smooth and smooth peeing beef balls; the latter uses Tai Chi to knead good buns.

The difference is that in this film, Stephen Chou still cares about the beauty and ugliness of girls. If the turkey becomes uglier in the end, it is hard to say whether Stephen Chou can accept her readily. But in "Shaolin Soccer", Zhou Xingchi broke through this narrowness. From the beginning, he didn't care about Amei's appearance, and he appreciated her kung fu more, which was a step further than "God of Cookery".

"effort"

"Kung Fu" is undoubtedly Zhou Xingchi's pinnacle work, and definitely ranks in the top three in his career. Personally, I think that "Domestic Lingling Paint", "Journey to the West" and "Tang Bohu Dianqiuxiang" also have the strengths of the top three (unfortunately there are four 2333). In "God of Cookery", after experiencing the grief of losing his lover, Stephen Chow realized the ecstasy rice: the best meal in the world is the simple barbecued pork rice cooked by his lover. At the end of the film, he has gray hair, and the image of a generation of masters is very similar to the image of "Kung Fu" who emerged from the cocoon, reborn, and has achieved great success.

Both have been honed, great achievements have been accomplished, great enlightenment has been achieved, and they have attained Taoism and become immortals (Buddhas). However, "God of Cookery" is still talking about the little love of men and women, "Kung Fu" is more of a chivalrous love, and the realm is higher than that of "God of Cookery".

In terms of acting skills, Zhou Xingchi is average, and there is nothing particularly dazzling to let me remember. Other people, I want to say that I seem to have seen Sun Xiaochuan's face (Tang Niu mistake) hhh
