Interrogate your own soul.

In my opinion, what the inspector represents is the conscience of each of us.
He is tall, his face is serious, and his words are merciless but they point to everyone's heart. He said that every one of them is sweating or dark panic or regretful.
He arrives unexpectedly in the dark like a ghost, and he is like a mountain that makes people have to look up. When he was present, he was in complete control of the situation. Everyone told their own actions and faults. Everyone repented with anxiety. After he left, some people began to try to avoid facing their own faults, and some were still deep. Deeply blame yourself, but some people choose to face it.
Isn't this how each of us reacts when we face the questioning of our own conscience, whether we are indifferent, whether we are arrogant, whether we are jealous, whether we are greedy, and whether we are cowardly.
The inspector may only come once, but conscience will be in our hearts and accompany us throughout our lives.
It is a ubiquitous ghost and a righteous judge. We will never escape the trial of conscience.
Do we have the courage to face our faults? Still cowardly to escape.
Do we have to fulfill our obligations while enjoying our rights? Or just think that you are superior.
Are we able to assume our responsibilities? Still do things with only a moment of fanaticism.
Have we considered the situation of others? It's for selfishness to hurt others.
Do we really have a clear conscience about what we have done? Still just deceiving ourselves.

It's quite boring, in fact, under various coincidences, Huang Shiren's family bullied Xier in a different way~

The progressive works of the left are very critical and symbolic. The decay under the appearance of civilization has soaked into the hearts of the ruling class, and the midnight bombing of the crown is condemning a deeper death sentence. The film is calm, interlocking and methodical, the soundtrack has a sense of hierarchy, and the ending is harsh. There are eyes in the sky, and you are all guilty. There can be more short and sharp works like this.

An Inspector Calls quotes

  • The Inspector: There are millions and millions of Eva Smiths and John Smiths still left with us, with their lives, their hopes and fears, their suffering and chance of happiness, all intertwined with our lives in what we think and say and do. We don't live alone upon this earth. We are members of one body. We are responsible for each other. And if mankind will not learn that lesson, then the time will, soon, when he will be taught it in fire and blood and anguish.

  • [first lines]

Man: Do you believe in God?

    Woman: Yes.

    Man: How can you?

Woman: I can't believe in people. I have to believe in something, or I'd fall - fall down through the cracks. Never stop falling.
