It is a very NB, with unique techniques, unique use of colors, and strong lens control. The sex scene was great, especially the last train, tank, ship, plane, and skyscrapers were great ^^

Barely pass. Yuasa's imagination is amazing. Not only does the same frame contain the strange style of exquisite and graffiti, but also the scenes and big breasts settings such as ten times of idiot lines in the opening barbecue restaurant and being shot to death are very Japanese-style assholes. The male protagonist's pure love behavior is in the same vein as the later Spring Night. What I like most about Yuasa is that he uses wild and unrestrained methods to reflect the huge enthusiasm in the heart of the introverted boy, which is also a typical Japanese-style blood. The idea of this film is actually very good. The sharp editing with rich information at the beginning and the end, and the male protagonist who has come back from the dead seem to assume that even if time is cruel, it cannot erase the burst of life tension, which is simply inspiring. The narrative intrigue doesn't know if it echoes David Fincher's film of the same name. But the main story of this film is the experience of the protagonist and his party after they fell into the whale's belly. Compared with the whimsy and whimsy of the first half hour, this psychological process of despair-progress is too rigid and inefficient, and appears at the beginning and end of the film. Those fleeting pieces of information have not been connected with the backbone to form a complete story. Is the script a half-finished product?

Nishi: This roller-coaster you're trying to stop is a genuine Angel Express. And I can see you moved to tears as you watch that mystic angel spread its wings and disappear into the sky. OK?
Yakuza boss: The fuck?
-
Nishi: We've gotta leave. It's that or drown.
Yakuza boss: But how?
Nishi: The boat, of course!
Yan: The cops'll be looking for us.
Nishi: So?
Yan: The Yakuzas'll come after us!
Nishi: So what! I wanna get out! 'Cos there's so much out there! So many different people, living different lives! Incredibly good guys, bad guys... Folks completely different from us! It's one huge melting pot! See, it's not about success, dying in the streets, who's better, who's not! I just want to be a part of it! I realized that even if I've no connections, no talent, even if I'm one big loser, I want to use my hands and feet to think and move, to shape my own life! We can just die here or we can try, see what we've got!
