Is it "human nature", like the title, it's just desire. People have beauty, money, women, possession... Desires are like a proof of existence and survival for human beings. Since ancient times, they have walked together from life to death. Some people are lost for it, some people are hesitant for it, some people are lost for it, and some people are crazy about it. For example, Miriam Yang’s cannibalistic dumplings, we call it greed; in fact, the greed in the film is not limited to this, and many times I feel that it is everywhere: whether it is a woman’s or a man’s; a wife’s or a mistress’s; yes Making dumplings, or eating dumplings. Desire is not scary, what is scary is greed.
Even if it is just a very essential and very life desire, after the rendering of the lens, it also produces that kind of impressive feeling. However, I feel that the director's tone is still relatively warm, and I don't shudder at all. Just like the black and white scene at the end of the film, the original beautiful wish was lost due to greed, and everyone was just a sigh of regret.
The end can be represented by the XX paragraph of Tony Leung Ka Fai and Bai Ling in the film, which shows the power of desire. Liang discovered the woman in her 60s who was still young, and Bai responded sharply: "My body is the real thing", and then the passion continued.... Most of the time we pursue our desires like this, but it's better not to get lost like this.
