This may be the wish that every woman will have, simple, but so extravagant.
So maybe only women can appreciate the deep sadness contained in "Dumplings".
In the movie, Miriam Yeung tells Aunt Mei about the misfortune of marriage: when a man is 20, he likes a 20-year-old woman, when he is 40, he likes a 20-year-old woman, and when he is 60, he still likes a 20-year-old woman. Woman, suddenly remembered a similar joke. The conclusion is: men are more single-minded than women, because they always like young girls.
Aunt Mei's answer was disdain: what's so good about being twenty? Silly B!
In the whole film, only Aunt Mei is qualified to say this, and only she is mentally strong. She doesn't rely on others, she relies on herself.
But no matter how independent a woman is, I am afraid she cannot escape the curse of these three wishes. . .
