Also see "Infinity"

I also want to talk about "The Promise". After watching the movie last week, I always wanted to write something, but unfortunately, the end of the year is always very busy. After a while, I suddenly realized that there were many things I wanted to say that I had long since forgotten about. However, what I want to express most fundamentally has not changed.

"The Promise" is a good film, I don't know why there are many critics, but at least after I watched it, I think that "The Promise" is really good-looking. When I was at the cinema that day, my fellow MM said that a friend from their work unit advised her not to waste money. I smiled and asked her if that person was a man. That MM nodded and smiled. So, I came to the conclusion: Most of the people who say "Wuji" is good are women, and most of the people who say "Wuji" is bad are men. Of course, this conclusion is only limited to the narrow scope I know. As for those online comments, I still have no time to read them.

I like "The Promise", but thinking about it now, the story in "The Promise" is extremely ordinary. If at this moment I can still roughly describe the content of the movie, but after a month or two, I must have forgotten all about it. But a good film, even if you forget its content, does not affect the affirmation of good in memory. Many times, I have forgotten most of the films that I once liked or still like, but there are always some things that impress me, and when I think about them again after a few years, they still make me feel move. "The Promise" is one such film.

Jang Dong-gun, I like Jang Dong-gun very much. From a very young age, when I saw the first TV series he acted in ("Blue Out of the Blue") on Phoenix TV, I had been fascinated by this big-eyed boy (of course, he is now a man ) was very impressed. So, since then, I have watched almost all the films and TV works starring or participating in Jang Dong Gun. Among them, what moved me the most was the message conveyed when his big eyes flashed.

In "The Promise", the slave Kunlun played by Zhang Dongjian, what impressed me the most was not his running like a fly, not his flying like a kite, but the sadness in his eyes again and again. Sometimes I think, maybe only those big eyes can reveal so much emotion.

Liu Ye, what impressed me most about Liu Ye in "The Promise" was the moment when he took off his black feather coat. When I watched his body gradually turn into smoke and dissipate in the air, I suddenly felt that what a tall image it was. Even if he once did some cowardly behaviors for his own survival, it was no match for the brilliance he radiated at that moment.

I don't know why, but I'm always inexplicably moved by death. Moved, sometimes mixed with joy. Perhaps the end of a statement is far more enlightening than we realize.

Nicholas Tse, to be honest, doesn't really like the character Wuhuan very much. I always feel that when Wuhuan first appeared on the stage (as an adult), he felt a bit like a eunuch. This statement does not mean to deny anyone. Or it can only be said that the character Wuhuan's character is too prominent.

Sanada Hiroyuki and General Guangming are probably my least favorite characters in "Wuji". Perhaps paradoxically, in the midst of this tiresome feeling, I have come to realize many of the characteristics of a real, normal person. Perhaps, the light is because of his more human-like qualities, and in this play, it appears even more dazzling.

Zhang Baizhi, in "The Promise", Qingcheng seems to be the source of the tragedy of these men, or, Qingcheng itself is a tragedy. Because he gave up the love that he didn't know what it meant for the young children, he became a tragic allure, and in the end, he got the love of all men. Although, it has been emphasized throughout the film that Allure cannot get true love. But in my opinion, it's not so much that she can't get it, it's better that she doesn't know how to find the outlet of her love in these loves.

I often wonder who Qingcheng really loves. Is it Kunlun? no. Is it bright? Neither. Just like many women, Qingcheng was moved by the shock in an instant, so she fell in love with the person who made the shock. Rather than saying that she fell in love with one of these people, it was better to say that she fell in love with this shocking feeling.

Manshen, a woman who controls everything in the boundless world. Is it righteous or evil? I have no idea. I only know that if there is no existence full of gods, the world of Wuji will be a better place.

Said a lot of praise, but also some unpleasant words. I don't know why, although the movie "The Promise" is good, although it is also moved, the moving is just a light stroke across my heart. Although there are ripples, it soon becomes calm again. In other words, that kind of moving is not enough to make me feel that such a large-scale film really has its meaning of existence. Although, in many ways, it is a symbol of beauty, but this kind of beauty is like a fairy to a beggar. Even the moment I left the theater, all the good feelings were gone.

Therefore, although I say I like it, although I say all kinds of affirmative words. Although if you ask me if I regret going to the movie, my answer is no. But if you ask me to give me another chance to choose, whether I will go again. I thought about it very carefully, and the answer can only be no.
