It's Wong Kar-wai's first movie. It's not that Wong Kar-wai, but it's pretty good. Better than most of his films since. Don't play tricks, tell a simple story seriously.
At first, I couldn't figure out why Andy had to lose his life to do that useless thing. On second thought, maybe he was really unwilling to let his brother die so worthless. You all died to kill this man, and if he was still alive, you died in vain.
