It's history, worth four stars

I gave this film 4 stars, not because of the story, but because of this history.

No matter how the story is told, whether the expression is clear or obscure, concise or cumbersome, whether it has something to say or does not understand, this is all a matter for the wise to see wisdom and the benevolent to see benevolence. The odds of winning an Oscar or a raspberry are equally high.

What is unforgettable is the history behind this film and the scars in the hearts of all Chinese people. For this, for what really happened, for this foreigner who came to China to help Chinese children from thousands of miles away, he will always be worth 5 stars.

The one deducted is the warm picture: the Japanese soldier's fearful expression when he died and the family photo. This seems to tell people that there is no right or wrong in war, only human nature is the most glorious.

But sorry, I can't agree. When I saw the bodies of the Japanese soldiers, the first thing that came to my mind was the Chinese who were shot and killed by the car group at the beginning of the movie, which made me immediately have an aspirational pleasure when I saw the death of the Japanese soldiers. I would have done the same if I had lived in that era.

As for the rest, everything is fine.
