When I was going to watch this movie, there was only one reason, Jun Ji Hyun.
I didn't read any introductions or reviews, just because Jun Ji Hyun was in the lead role, I didn't hesitate to spare my precious Sunday afternoon time.
It's a movie about stealing, and I like it because there's agility, perfect lies, careful planning, and, to a greater extent, love-hate relationships and dazzling High-tech stuff, of course, the most important thing is to have unexpected twists and suspense (how sad a movie that you can see after ten minutes of watching the ending), just like buying a random Lego minifigure and dismantling it. You never know what's inside the package until you open it. This kind of expectation is brought to me by several movies with endless aftertastes, such as the "Eleven Arhats" series, such as "The Day and the Day", such as "The Insider", such as "The Very Suspects", such as "The Big Bank Robbery".
The film started well. Although the art of stealing from the museum is nothing new, it basically explained the identities and characteristics of the members of the Korean gang of thieves, and let Jun Ji-hyun show off his figure, which strengthened my determination to continue watching.
The scene where the Chinese gang of thieves appeared has a lot of To Qifeng's flavor (is it because of Ren Dahua?). Three members armed robbery of a gold shop in Macau, controlled the people in the shop, and then disguised themselves as the shop owner and the clerk to deal with the police who came. Ren Dahua was particularly outstanding. Facing the police's questioning, he put the pistol on the table and covered it with a newspaper. While making Kung Fu tea, he answered the police's questions. Ren's calm demeanor almost fooled me, thinking that he was really a hidden gold shop owner.
The character who can bring together the gang of thieves from China and Korea - Macau Park's background is very complex and quite intelligent. The multinational team's plan was to steal a priceless diamond from a luxury suite in a Macau casino and sell it to Hong Kong-based sales giant Wei Hong for $20 million.
A group of top-notch figures in various fields gather together, do their best, work together with their hearts, and work hard with all their might. Buy dozens of soft sleepers from 12306 in minutes! This is a very interesting part of the film, but the director obviously did not design clear technical expertise for all 9 thieves, some characters have repetitive skills, some characters have mediocre skills, and some characters even have no characteristics. Make soy sauce. It can be seen that although there are many stars in this film, the script is still not ready for polishing. I even thought to myself that the agents of the stars, the Eight Immortals, showed their magical powers and exerted pressure on the director to increase the number of scenes. Facing the pressure on the sponsor from the investment, the director had no choice but to add unnecessary plots, which led to the middle part of the film. The plot is quite dragging.
Of course, there are also some outstanding characters, one of which is of course Quan Zhixian, who is youthful and invincible, but uses thick powder to pretend to be mature, behaves frivolously but does not allow others to take advantage of it, and makes the little abacus in his heart crackle all the time. However, she only cares about the small profits in front of her and has no deep scheming, and there are several other stunts that are extraordinarily chic and beautiful, very vividly interpreting a beautiful female thief who "will come to the fore".
The second is Ren Dahua, whose role is not heavy, but the performance is in place. The scene in which Brother Chen, played by Ren Dahua, appeared in the film was very exciting and logically reasonable. In the plan formulated by Macau Pu, Brother Chen and his subordinates secretly formulated a plan to rob only cash and not steal diamonds. According to normal logic, Brother Chen should be a powerful person with careful thinking and careful behavior, but after the robbery, there is no strictness. The escape plan, two not to join his subordinates, three to run away with an old Korean woman who is obviously a burden, get caught in the heavy siege of the police, and finally die on the street, this is unscientific! Seeing the passionate scene between Ren Dahua and an old Korean woman, I couldn't help but sigh for Ren Dahua: Money is really hard to earn! Although the role of Brother Chen in the script is quite embarrassing and unreasonable, it still can't hide the actor's skills.
The plan was carried out step by step, during which the emotional entanglement of several protagonists was explained: it turned out that he loved her, but she loved the other him; he held a grudge and framed him without her knowledge; Thought she and him were accomplices, but left because she was already attracted to her, until it was discovered during the action that she did not harm him, so the love universe between him and her ignited again... The emotional entanglement of these three people is carried out through the film. The whole story did not impress me. Instead, Kim Soo Hyun, who was trying to cover Jun Ji Hyun's escape, attracted all the police and then shouted "What blue and black" and his smile after being caught, moved me.
The best part of the whole film is the scene where Wei Hong and his subordinates chase and kill Macau Park. The rhythm is tense and thrilling. When I saw the two sides jumping around on the air conditioner outside the building, I thought of the scene of Jackie Chan and Yuan Biao in "The Baby Project". I wonder if the action director is a Hong Kong filmmaker.
Most of the two-hour movies are still good-looking. In addition, the Chinese of the Korean actors is really ugly!
