The play was originally aimed at Cum Fu, the popular actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Of course he didn't disappoint me. He is a talented actor, a real actor, who can be deep and cute. The most irresistible thing is his deep voice. In such a story that happened in England in the early 1920s and the end of the Victorian era, his lines are like poems, and the deep ancient soul in his body interprets this beautifully vividly. Thank God for making him an Englishman. A deep, historic Brit.
The slow rhythm of this play complements his temperament, and I hope he has a long line, so that I can immerse myself in his gentle voice and taste it slowly.
