I also watched this Korean version of Boys Over Flowers when I was bored after listening to a sister's introduction and recommendation. Since I have read the first two versions, I read it with a sense of comparison.
The first few episodes didn't feel like watching, I thought, um. You can also. A little better than the first two versions.
By the 7th and 8th episodes I was totally hooked!
At school, I always discuss with my classmates, then guess, and look forward to every weekend - you can go home and watch!
