As a best-selling novel a hundred years ago, the story of Tarzan of the Apes does not seem complicated now. Compared with the common plots of Hollywood blockbusters in which vampires, werewolves, supermen, mutants, aliens, robots and humans love each other and kill each other, A human child adopted by an ape falls in love with a human girl. This setting is simply weak. These days, if the love in the movie is not cross-racial, it is too embarrassing to go out and talk about it. On the other hand, the destruction of forests by mankind in the original novel is not worth mentioning compared to the destruction of the earth by mankind now. From these two points, if you want to remake this movie from the perspective of love or the conflict between man and nature, I am afraid it is difficult to make a difference. So the director wisely chose to use the doctrine, to talk a little about everything, and to make life a little better. So now, we have seen such a pot of Northeast chaotic stew in front of us. At the beginning of the movie, it took almost extravagant time to create a scene where a meteorite hit the earth leading to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Then, it was told that Taishan's parents were pulled by strange energy because they knocked off the meteorite fragments, causing the plane to crash. This plot has to be thought of as the Transformers of the Ape. The scene of the Great Escape of the Apes also has to remind people of the Ice Age. Then the film took a lot of thought to solve the problem of how Tarzan speaks fluent English. In the end, the fight against Tentacle Monster, the evil company, and the Monkey King were all done in one go, and the film ended like this.
Such a movie with love but not romance, action but not fierce, gunfight but not hot, conspiracy but not twists and turns, is really tasteless like drinking warm water. However, I was mentally prepared for the straightforwardness of the plot. After all, every good remake is just a coincidence, and the remaining 99 mediocre ones are normal. In the case that various themes have almost been badly filmed, it is a bit difficult to introduce the old and the new in the plot. What's more, the positioning of this film is for audiences of all ages, and it is an animated film, which means that it is not in many ways. Without compromise, when I was watching the movie, I could already imagine how heavy the director's fetters were.

Unlike all previous remakes, this is the first time Tarzan has appeared on the screen in 3D. It is said that it also uses the CG motion capture technology of "Avatar". Throughout the movie, Tarzan's role in parkour in the jungle is indeed remarkable, with an immersive feeling. What’s more surprising is that the whole movie has a strong game style. After watching a movie, it seems to have played the [The Sims] Jungle version once. No matter the action or the scene, it seems to be in a 3D. In the jungle parkour game. In other 3D movies, there has never been such an experience, including 3D giants such as "Avatar" and "Transformers". I humbly thought that if the publisher made a 3D jungle parkour game with the same theme, it would sell well. This would be considered unintentional. The scenes in the movie are also beautiful. Although they are not as strange as Avatar, they are better than the greenery. In such a scorching summer vacation, watching such an eco-friendly, cool and pleasant movie is really a pleasure of being in an air-conditioned room with a high temperature of 42 degrees, and it is still natural wind. From this perspective, as a remake of an animated film, this is also a bright spot.
