But is this really the standard definition of ending? Talk about some of the most banging pictures. Tommy lost his temper during his father's car repair, venting his depression after returning to peace; in a small meeting, he said frankly that he no longer belongs here; and in the dialogue between the cinema and Vanessa, he talked contemptuously about peace in a country where ordinary People who don’t know what war is worth mentioning are insignificant. They think that people who don’t know what war is will never understand the sinister life of another kind of life. The female Vanessa also agrees with this statement. In fact, Tommy is happy and special. After watching the movie, should you all think about what our destiny is? In fact, even in peaceful times, we also need to have feelings like Tommy—the so-called spirit of the greater self compared to the ego. When peace dotes on you, me, and him, it creates social harmony and at the same time makes people lose the sense of honor and gratitude of the most primitive mission. It is true that we know to thank the family, but we have never deeply appreciated the environment and the importance of this country. We can't just abandon it because of the ugliness that the kingdom we live in has. We can scold, but we can't just scold. The people under the Stars and Stripes can hate the damage that war has brought to the country's economy and finances, but they can't just hate it. Each of us needs to find ways to step on the stage of history, move forward, and work hard, so that this cohesion can push forward this society. The purpose of the film to portray the role of Tommy is this.
Should we all think about it. It would have been incredible to see the pain these people endured in a society that we thought was beautiful in the post-war time. But looking back, even if they suffered both physical and mental torture on the battlefield, they felt it was glorious. They are unwilling to die of old age at home, and the sense of mission created by the war makes them unwilling to just sit on the sidelines. The battlefield is their home. We should also think about how our destiny can make us no longer small.
Movies also have an emotional line. The military doctor Will and his son and Vanessa found a new boyfriend. One who understands her, really looks at her beauty instead of pitying her disability. Will's son was against the war because he couldn't bear to see his father hurt in the war. Will knew this and understood and moved his son's love for him. But contradictions coexist, and I said something that I can't agree with. Every 15-year-old child hates his parents. In fact, looking at this line, this sentence becomes that although children once hated their parents, just because they love their parents, the parents are not what they hoped. So Will changed, met with a psychiatrist, and returned to peace with his wife. Vanessa is even better than Vanessa, and there is a child who has found her true love. This is a relatively weak line, but it is also a family love that is celebrated like most movies.
After watching the movie, we are actually contradictory. I hope this can find his own destination like Tommy and dedicate his life to it, and hope that he will die like a man and die a little more like a man. The fathers all hope to have their own weaknesses like Will, but in the end they will have a beautiful family. How could it be easy? There are no bullets in reality, but people's hearts are more complicated. The movie is a benchmark, setting our end, and we have to complete the process ourselves.
