A very exciting film.
Reminds me of several similar films: "No Country for Old Men".
What is the mentality of a murderer? My niece in the procuratorate told me that murderers often kill without a motive. They just want to kill and kill.
So does the murderer in this movie. In fact, the people killed are irrelevant people. He is a little different from the murderer in "No Country for Old Men". The murderer of No Country for Old Men is a more principled murderer. He only kills those who are hypocritical and unprincipled. Of course, the principle is set by him. The murderer in this film kills at will. It's a kind of inertia.
The idea of gangsters and police joining forces is really interesting.
One of my favorite scenes is when the mob boss gives an umbrella to a student who is out of class. Then the police came and said how come you don't have an umbrella. He pointed to the umbrella in the little girl's hand. The police shouted at the little girl, don't take other people's things indiscriminately in the future, what if it is a triad? The little girl looked at the police and said, you look more like a gangster. Then a few hours later, they found the little girl had been killed. And so their anger surged.
