In Kung Fu movies, Ye Wen, who was still unknown six or seven years ago, has become more popular in recent years than Huang Feihong and Fang Shiyu.
The biggest disadvantage of this film is that most of the film series of Ip Man are famous for Wu, so the starring role is not a star, and there is no international director blessing, so the attraction is naturally insufficient. And after watching the movie, you will find that audiences who don't understand the plot, but come just because of Ye Wen's name are probably disappointed. This is not an action movie at all, this is a biopic.
After Ip Man was displaced to Hong Kong, although he was not impoverished, he was indeed forced by his livelihood. There is no such thing as being impassioned for the sake of national integrity and righteousness.
I saw Liang Shuang in the first scene, as the narration said, but those who have achieved some achievements are mostly a little arrogant. Ye Wen came here, but he was not courteous. Huang Qiusheng did perform that kind of arrogance that made people feel a little bit arrogant, but not so angry.
In the subsequent running accounts, the director interspersed more facts such as strikes, which made people feel that Ye Wen was just a member of the crowd. He and his apprentices fighting against fate or succumbing to fate were just involuntary natural reactions. No matter a generation of masters or martial arts masters, he has never been able to control his own destiny, let alone the destiny of the times.
Just like saying goodbye to Yongcheng, all he can do is just keep wearing clothes without buttons and pockets, which he misses.
Deng Sheng is a character with a sense of the times, and his essence is not bad, but in troubled times, if you want to survive better, you need to weigh, you need to make choices, and you need to constantly weigh your interests and conscience on the balance. Fortunately, he was not lost. In the end, he would drew his gun to the local snake in the arena, and there were always things that could not be exchanged for benefits.
In fact, because of Ye Zhun's participation, people have some belief in the authenticity of the story. Regarding the love with the singer, although the son may be partial to the father, judging from the film alone, this kind of spiritual derailment may be self-deception, but for a man who is alone in a foreign land, it is generally harmless. It's a pity that the singer is so infatuated, and finally a little abandoned.
But if the movie is based on Ye Zhun's narrative as the main basis, then it seems that his impression of Bruce Lee is indeed not very good.
