When Blake was a child, in order to make money for his mother and his baby brother, he followed Willie Grimes as a corpse thief. But for many years, because Dr. Vernon Quint had been threatening to report them and asked them to provide him with fresh corpses as specimens, the two had never made any money. Until one time they found a female corpse when they stole the body, she had a string of garlic around her neck and a wooden thorn in her chest. After they pulled out the wooden thorn, the female corpse was alive and attacked them. During the fight, they inserted the wooden thorn again and died. It turned out that this was a living dead (vampire). The two gave it to Doctor Quint and killed him by the hands of the living dead.
The two who got rid of Quint’s threats made money by selling the living dead, because doctors would pay 10 times the price of ordinary corpses to buy the living dead, and they felt that they were the key to human immortality. But their business clashed with Murphy Gate, a family of corpse thieves. They fought Cornelius Murphy for an ET alien corpse, but the ET alien corpse suddenly It turned into a strong light and disappeared.
The two took in female apprentice Fanny Blairs, who was once a shipwreck thief (looking for ships that hit the rocks and stealing properties from above) because she was tired of being a corpse thief. Fanny urged Blake to go to the island to kill people. Willie refused after learning that Murphy’s gang had also taken a fancy to the goods. Blake did not stop the female temptation, and the three came to the island. Fanny cuts his throat and killed Bolger of Murphy's gang. The three were about to carry the living dead. Fanny was killed by Cornelius Murphy's throwing knife, and Willie and Blake were tied up. The two living dead fought with Cornelius Murphy and Valentine Kelly of Murphy's gang and took their lives. After returning from the island, the two parted ways, but within a week Willie was chopped off and Blake was also arrested.
After Blake talked about his own experience, he felt that he was innocent of murder, but the priest did not approve it, thinking that it would be cheaper to go to the guillotine. Blake guessed that the priest was actually Sam Murphy, the leader of the Murphy gang, Cornelius Murphy's father, Sam Murphy. Sam Murphy picked up a mace and attacked Blake. Sam Murphy was cut to the ground by a knife. It turned out that Willie Grimes saved him. Willie had been bitten out of blood by the living dead on the island before and had an abnormal physique. Now, even though his head is different, he still moves freely, and the two left.
On the island, Cornelius Murphy, who became the living dead, emerged from the water.
A horror film about tomb robbery was very exciting, not scary and interesting, and the ending was a good reversal. In fact, the beginning of the film was well laid out. When the person lying on the ground called him the priest, he kicked the opponent fiercely. He left with one foot, and then he stammered when he announced his duties to Blake.
Chinese tomb robbers are all stealing funerary objects, and the tomb robbers in the film are different from us in that they steal corpses and sell them to doctors for autopsy. They are a group of people who are crazy for the medical career.
