I just want a black fairy

In the second year of Sui Renshou, Henan Yanshi gave birth to a white and fat child. His father was a petty official, a scholarly family, and he could not flatter, so he was impoverished. The child was sensible early and didn't like to cause trouble to the family, so he went to the Jingtu Temple and became a monk, reciting sutras and learning Buddhism with Master Chang Jie. The child's surname was Chen, and the master named Xuanzang. Xuanzang was born as a white lotus flower. He grew up in the temple without any pollution. He thought more than other children and had a stronger sense of mission. In order to learn Buddhism, he ran and wondered: Why do you want to learn Buddhism? Can a person become a Buddha? How can you become a Buddha? Why is it called Buddhahood? Someone told him: There is a place called Tianzhu, where there are good things, you will understand everything when you go. Xuanzang was very happy when he heard it. This moment coincided with the change of dynasty. In the first year of Zhenguan, Xuanzang packed up the rolls and ran west. On the way to eat and sleep on the street, one day I passed by a small fishing village with good air and beautiful scenery. Xuanzang felt that he was a good place to stay and lived here. Unexpectedly, this place is full of fairies, hiding in the river and eating adults and children. A series of changes followed: after catching the river demon and the pig demon, after catching the pig demon and the monkey demon, during the period, there were various gods and grimaces coming in, and they were also chased by a girl who was catching the demon together. The process was dark, treacherous, and bloody, and Xuanzang's five years of entangled undercurrents were surging, experiencing life and death, love, hatred, and thunder, fire, clouds, and clouds, and then...

woke up.

Yes, I just woke up, everything was a daydream. Xuanzang was enlightened in this daydream, shaking his clothes, and taking three mortal apprentices, he left the small fishing village and continued to the west. When I left, I also took care of the second sister-in-law in the village to take care of the pigsty, and gave the monkey charmer Grand Brother Sun a banana. The fisherman Sha San, who rushed in the river and made his head and was fishing, smiled. At this time, Duan Sinier in the village was on fire. Huangliang millet rice is not cooked yet, so I yelled not to eat? Do you want to leave after eating? Xuanzang said that he would be prone to appendicitis when he was full and walked away, and then left.

The above is the black fairy tale in my mind, Xuanzang's black fairy tale.

I thought of this on the second day after watching the movie. To be honest, before I watched it, there was already a lot of scolding. The evaluation of "inappropriate" made my nasty taste just about to stir. After watching the film, I still feel that it is not bad. I replied in other people’s comments on the film on Weibo at the time, saying that I expected this film to be a simple black fairy tale, but obviously the blackness is not enough. The first half of the film Duan has this sign, but it's really not a fairy tale, and it's not even a story.

After all, I still love Zhou Xingchi and still have expectations for him. This film did not disappoint me, but it did not meet my expectations.

I actually really just want a dark fairy tale.

Zhou Xingchi’s four years of sharpening a sword, and based on the theme of Journey to the West, is destined to be inevitably used to compare with the early "Dahua" series. It is well known that the image of Monkey King has been established in the "Dahua" era to be fully familiar. Afterwards, there were two sequels of Liu Zhenwei's "The Great Sage of Love" and "The Treasure Box of Yueguang", which has already stuck the monkey in an embarrassing bottleneck. Zhou Xingxing’s image of Monkey King, like his beloved Bruce Lee, has a personal complex, but at this time making a movie with a monkey as the protagonist, the jewels and stubborn stones are already in front, and it is easy to become a Ling. Zhou is a clever man, he chose Tang Seng. But smart people don't mean not being confused, Zhou Xingchi chose the right direction but didn't find the right point.

In the film, there is hardly too much previous affair. Xuanzang appeared in the small fishing village directly as an exorcist, and Miss Duan was Cheng Yaojin who was killed halfway through. The two people's thin identities and backgrounds are destined to be anticlimactic in this film. Of course, this can also be seen as a manifestation of Star Master's brand of nonsense, but Stephen Chow is not a person who is good at romance. This point can be seen in "Yangtze River No. 7". Xuanzang and Duan Xia Xia are together, and Duan Xia Xia went into estrus after meeting a few times. Of course, this is not that love at first sight can not be explained. Level 1 monsters are extremely weak and vulnerable when they are flustered and at a loss. In "The Big Story" of that year, Zixia also fell in love with Zhizun Bao at first sight, but that love passed through time and space, past and present. Under this background, the feeling of fate and helplessness formed by the blunders of space and time caused by space and time. Don't make people feel embarrassed. The Tang Seng who is mumbling in "Da Hua" is very funny and capable, but the more serious is Guanyin, Guanyin tells Zhi Zunbao that sooner or later you will understand your master's intentions. And the Dharma at the end of "Devils" is ridiculously weak. In the end, the three demon Sand, Pig, and Sun still succumbed to force. Xuanzang's Da Ni Tathagata scripture is not influence, but kills and kills. I feel that the Tathagata is nothing more than a good match with the exorcists and demons, but it is more powerful. The monkey heart said, if it weren't for the fight, can I convince you?

Speaking of this, I have to mention the "Kung Fu" of the stars. I personally think that it is a masterpiece of Stephen Chow's personal style. There is no need to compare it with anyone else, that is the complete personal presentation of the stars. That is almost all of Stephen Chow’s interests and complexes: heroism, Hong Kong comics, martial arts, the dreams and feelings of small characters, tribute to the life-long love of movies... At the end of "Kung Fu", the evil god of fire cloud asked Ah Xing: You use this What punch is it? Ah Xing said lightly that you want to learn? I teach you. So far Cthulhu completely surrendered. So you see, great kindness and beauty actually don’t need to be exerted. It just stays there leisurely. When you escape the darkness and suffering, it just stays there so easily, not coming or going, which is brought about by the unrest. The shock and contrast are incomparable to the dark power's hard work, so they can only continue to shrink in the darkness and wait for the opportunity to move. The contrast of details in "Devil Falling" is well done. For example, Xiaoyu Village Changsheng Lolita is still smiling happily when she sees her father being dragged into the water by the demon, the contrast between innocence and the dangerous atmosphere; for example, Jun Gang, who has a lot of oil and noodles. The contrast between the face and the ferocious pig's face; but it is clumsy and deliberately emphasizes the positive force in the eyes of the big truth. The palm of the Tathagata in the exquisite "Asura's Fury", destroying the dead stone and shocking the sky, the momentum is not insignificant, but the method it shows does not make people see any essential difference from the monster world, which represents the darkness. Anyway, it is strong. Having a strong mid-hand is more like a scorpion of evil forces and more evil forces.

Similarly, the magical pen in "Kung Fu" comes from the end. When Ah Xing ran out of the candy store and saw the dumb girl outside the door, the sky was spinning in an instant. Both of them returned to childhood, Ah Xing pulled the girl, and the two entered with a smile. The candy store. Only then did we see clearly, the four-eyed boy on the street, the Fire Cloud Cthulhu standing in the middle of the road, leaning on the charter Gongqing, my charter wife... It turned out that the time point was still there. A Xing was still A Xing when he was a child. It's just a dream of a little boy, A Xing. He imagines himself as a world-famous hero with a strange physique, and imagines the ordinary people around him as kung fu masters hiding in the city... But again, in a trance, it is plausible. Is all this an adult Ah Xing's recollection of the past, or a boy Ah Xing's dreamy vision, the ending like Zhuang Zhou's dream is confusing and surprising.

This brings me back to the concept of black fairy tales that I imagined at the beginning. As I said before, choosing Xuanzang's perspective is Zhou Xingchi's cleverness, because Tang Seng's role is actually very promising. In the original "Journey to the West", Tang Seng is the only person in the group of four who has learned from the scriptures in history. In other words, if Wu Chengen's "Journey to the West" is a mythology, the "Da Tang Xiyu Ji" recorded by Xuanzang's oral debate is the official history of Tang Seng's Westward Journey. Through official history, we can know that Xuanzang was born into a Confucian family and was ordained since childhood; through mythology, we also know that Xuanzang’s previous life was a golden cicada, and was demoted to the tenth reincarnation by the Buddha because of his contempt for Buddhism. As for how to be contemptuous, it is not mentioned in the book. Contempt is nothing more than contempt and slowness. Therefore, it may be understood that the Buddha held the assembly and the Tang monk dozed off, which shows that there is still a naughty heart. The conclusion is that a child who is born wiser than other children is a little unruly, pure in roots, and knows from an early age that his mission is to transcend the world, but after all, he still has the innocence of a child. Such a child has always accompanied the ancient Buddha with blue lanterns since he was a child. It is both habit and nature. However, since he is reincarnated as a human being, in the process of becoming a Buddha and being a man, he still has the same thoughts as a human being. In my philosophy, going west is the truth, but encountering gods and monsters, as well as personal emotions, are the fantasies of this naive monk who has never lived a worldly life, knowing his own mission, and at the same time facing the world. Full of endless fantasies and even delusions, I also thought about what it would be like if I had a relationship. Anyway, for such a person, thinking of where is where, and being born with wisdom different from ordinary people, will definitely be even more bizarre than any other person with secular fetters.

In the fantasy, there are countless strange monsters, or there are gloomy clouds and mists, or the fragrance of birds and flowers, weird and beautiful. I really like the setting of the black shop in Gaojiazhuang in "Dropping the Devil", and more than one person reminded me of Marco Carlo's "Black Shop Rhapsody". All the dark plots in "Dropping the Devil" are still in use, and can even be more erratic. All the inner doubts, anxiety, fears and desires are incisively and vividly in this dream, so when the fantasy dream is broken, Xuanzang understands everything, like a dream bubble, and then stays away from the inverted dream. This is the last time his imagination gallops before he enters the holy. , Since then, you should know, all laws are only knowledge.

And the three apprentices also came from fantasy. I saw the monkey juggler when I passed the market. I thought that if my apprentice was a monkey, it would be fun. Sinier is a colleague, maybe she can be my girlfriend, how should we talk about love...

Xuanzang smiled after thinking about it , looked at the map for a while, and went to Guazhou...
