Wu Yusen's movies, or all movies, are inseparable from the eternal theme of betrayal. Betrayal stems from selfishness, and selfishness stems from the desire of original sin. This desire is transformed into pure greed for money in "Blood on the Street". A poor life is the most primitive device for the desire for money. In the eyes of people who have never betrayed friendship, the happiness of poor days is worth cherishing. In the heart of the betrayer, there is no happiness in poverty, and happiness can only be obtained from wealth. The role played by Tony Leung in the movie is actually at the end of betrayal. He defended friendship but betrayed love. The only Jacky Cheung who did not betray anyone, eventually betrayed himself. It can be said that Jacky Cheung is the most brilliant acting in the whole movie. Whether on the streets of Hong Kong or Vietnam, Jacky Cheung has dedicated his best performances to the audience. Wu Yusen has great ambitions in "Blood on the Street", but his control of the story has become a slave to a huge background. The flashbacks of cars and bicycles at the end of the movie are a highlight of the movie. No matter how much Wu Yusen wanted to say, he couldn't get out of the boundless theme of betrayal.
