Zac's role is redundant

I just finished watching it today, purely for supporting Zac Efron. I don’t have much to say about the acting, but I don’t know whether the protagonist of this film should be Richard or Orson... Just take a good picture of your biography and change your perspective. It’s okay, but the protagonist should be Orson after all... How did the lens focus on Zac’s character in the end? It makes people think that this is talking about Richard’s life. But if it’s really talking about Richard’s life, the film ends. It should have just started! The role of Zac is really a lot. It feels very distracting.

Me and Orson Welles quotes

  • Orson Welles: Where is thou ukulele?

Richard Samuels: I think some asshole... doth... stole it

  • Orson Welles: Do you know Booth Tarkington's "The Magnificent Ambersons?" Tarkington was a family friend. The character of Eugene, the inventor, is based on my father who died when I was fifteen. My mother when I was nine. "Ambersons" is about how everything gets taken away from you.
