The DTS version of "Eclectic Valley" on the Internet.

The director of "Eclectic Valley" said he didn't want to turn the film into a war film, but a horror film. The director’s hopes may have been lost. Michael Bassett, who wrote and directed himself, searched for some information and found that he was shooting horror movies, but this movie was not terrifying at all, and it was nothing like Hong Kong horror movies. What about Fabi. The story tells that during World War I, a small unit of the British army strayed into a trench of the German army due to fog. This trench was very strange. The small unit was affected by some mysterious forces and began to suspect and kill each other. The rookie recruit played by Jamie is called Charlie Shakespeare. I don’t know if it’s common to call Shakespeare in the UK. Although Shakespeare played by Jamie went on the battlefield, he never dared to pull the trigger and shoot the enemy. When his companion was entangled in the wire, he He didn't dare to rescue him. It was just such a timid and confused recruit who entered the trenches of the German army who followed that squad into the battlefield. The director began to create the horror and spirituality of the trenches, the terrifying German army, rats gnawing corpses and so on, the captain played by Lawrence Fox set up the task: we have to defend this trench and wait for support. The squad also caught a German army and tortured him in every possible way. Only the little Jamie treated him better. Jamie asked the German prisoners for information in French. The German prisoners said that the trench was terrible and told them to leave here quickly. But the squad thought it was a trick and ignored it. After that, horrible things happened. First, Chris Marshall (who saw him in "True Love First", who went to the United States to get MM) was entangled to death by wire, and then strange. The voice filled the trenches, making people panic. The captain killed his own men. The other wanted to escape. After being shot by his own, he was dragged to the ground by an underground monster. After seeing all of this, Jamie persuaded the sergeant to take everyone away. The sergeant took good care of the recruit, but he refused to leave. Later, a bloodthirsty Quinn beat him to death with a mace. Jamie wanted to escape with the army doctor. The army doctor was shot and killed by a mentally disordered communicator. Jamie killed him helplessly. This is the second time he shot and killed. The first time was that the wounded he wanted to take was dying, and the lower limbs of the wounded were bitten by a rat (this is not terrible is disgusting), and the fear on Jamie's face also has an expression of despair. He was in place, he was helpless. He controlled his crying emotions and drew a pistol and shot the wounded man in the head. From this moment, he was no longer a recruit, and no one took care of him. He wanted to rush out by himself.
The final outcome is that the German captive is the initiator of all these weirdness, because Jamie once rescued him, Jamie was able to leave this ghost place.
Those wires are two-dimensional and very crude. The director said that it was a pity because of budget issues. He originally designed Jamie to shoot Quinn, and Quinn exploded, and flesh and blood parts were flying everywhere. It was a very bloody plot, but fortunately, it was deleted at the end.
There is really very little that can be said about this film. I watched the introduction of the disc and said that the film still has anti-war ideas in it. I really can't see it. The actors in the tidbits rarely talked about the roles and plots they played. They all said that they were for fun. Everyone built a small wooden house near the trenches. They all used local materials. Everyone also talked about JAMIE, the youngest. Everyone likes him and asks him to run around.
Jamie’s performance is very young in it. Because he wants to get rid of the past and re-invest in new performances, he sometimes dissociates from the role, and he does not cooperate with the surrounding actors. However, the actors in this film are a little bit independent, so This is also the reason why the film is not brilliant.
I think this film made Jamie realize that it is very hard to shoot war scenes.
