——What
is the use of Adorno poetry? Who can it save? The story is about a 66-year-old woman who is gradually suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Because I love poetry, I signed up for a poetry training class. With her understanding of poetry, poetry must pursue beautiful and natural emotions. But her life didn't seem to suit her, and she always gave her some shocks that she couldn't bear. This poor "literary old age", her life is not light, but she always wants to write some light and beautiful poems through feelings. And she is an honest person, every time she faces her heart, she can only feel sorrow and pain, and even sin. In the end, the old lady respected her own feelings and completed the only poem "Song of Agnes" in the training class. In my opinion, this poem is still pretentious in terms of expression. But its emotions are real and complete, and the old lady has redeemed herself through poetry.
The old lady Yang Meizi and his grandson Ayu depend on each other. Yang Meizi earns some money by taking care of an older hemiplegic old man. Feed the grandson to eat and drink to school. In fact, grandson Ayu and grandmother Yang Meizi are completely in two different worlds. The spiritual worlds do not intersect under the same roof. Grandma doesn't understand grandma, and grandma doesn't understand grandma either. It's just the blood of family that maintains life. Until the incident, Ayu and five other boys had gang-raped a girl for a long time, causing the girl to commit suicide by jumping into the river. The parents of the other five boys approached Yang Mizi and wanted to spend 5 million won each for a total of 30 million won, and they secreted this matter with the mother of the deceased.
Yang Meizi only works hourly, and she can't afford the money. And the seriousness of the matter does not lie in the money. But the six boys (murderers), including the boys' parents, school principals, tabloid reporters, and others, didn't care about this "evil" and tried to erase this "sin". Even the victim's mother eventually accepted the money. Agree to stop talking about this matter. This is a serious blow to an honest old lady who wants to learn to write poetry who is pursuing beautiful emotions. But Yang Meizi was unable to blame his grandson Ayu. He always looks numb and innocent. Yang Meizi couldn't even explain to him what crime he committed. Yang Meizi said that the hemiplegic old man lent money to the victim. But at the same time she also reported her grandson. This point is not clearly given in the movie, but before he let his grandson take a bath and cut his nails, some signs can be seen. I think it was Yang Meizi who reported this matter. Then Yang Meizi disappeared, and there is no clear whereabouts. The last set of shots is basically Yang Meizi's subjective shots. It feels like Yang Meizi went to the bridge along the road where the victim walked and committed suicide by jumping into the river. Of course this is my guess. The script is very clever, deliberately concealing these two places and expressing it in a more subtle way. Among the students in the poetry training class, only Yang Meizi handed in the homework, the only one. It is "Song of Agnes"
"How are you there? Is
it still that beautiful? Is the
sunset still red? Are the
birds still singing in the woods?
Can you receive the letter I didn't dare to send?
I can express Do you dare not admit the confession?
Time will pass, will the rose wither?
...
I began to dream of
a sunny morning
I woke up again
in the dazzling sunlight
I saw you
standing by my side"
Some people say that the name is incorrectly translated. It should be the song of Narcissism, the beautiful narcissistic boy in ancient Greek mythology. He fell into the water because he loved his reflection. This poem was written by Yang Meizi to suicide girls. At first, Yang Meizi’s voice was reading, and it gradually turned to be read by the dead girl. When the subjective camera walked to the bridge, she had become the girl. She bent down and looked at the river, turned her face and smiled at the camera.
This is a great movie. The extreme evil is dispelled by the randomness and continuity of daily life, and it also burns a kind and sensitive heart. It is as implicit in expression as poetry (although the last poem written is a bit artificial, it is completely understandable as an old lady who is just learning to write poetry). There are no scenes or performances spilling blood. Yang Meizi went to the field to look for poems, but couldn't write a word, only raindrops kept hitting her horizontal notebook, dampening her together. She went back to find the lascivious old paralyzed man, fed him Viagra, and made him make love with him. Because she has compassion on him and also compassion on herself. The performance of the two actors is impeccable, and some emotions are not understandable by young people or even middle-aged people, let alone acting. Yin Jingji is a good actor. You can't feel overwhelmed by what she does. She is always accurate and appropriate. The old Korean actors are really amazing.

Yang Meizi sang the scene in ktv very well. She was praised for being beautiful and thought When I was a girl. In the background is a commercial painting, imitating Renoir's "Little Irene". Debussy's music work "The Girl with Red Brown Hair" is all beautiful and natural characters and emotions. It coincides with the poetic aesthetic in the mind of the old lady, and contrasts with the reality of her existence.

“Adorno puts great emphasis on the redemptive function contained in the critical nature of art. He It is believed that the human nature of modern industrial society is divided, personality is lost, and the world is broken into fragments. Only through the spiritual compensation of art can it be saved. Art can reproduce the ideals and dreams that people have lost in reality, and the alienated humanity. In front of people,'art is the display of happiness that has been squeezed out'." [Baidu Encyclopedia]
