n't seen such a clean movie for a long time. When I first decided to watch this movie, it was only because the name of the movie was "The Secret Life of Words". I wondered what the Secret Life of Words looks like.

Of course, it has something to do with the movie background mostly at sea. I have always liked those movies related to the sea.

Today, I spent 115 minutes sitting here and watching this movie in earnest. I think I understand the secret life of words.

I can't express my cherishment for a thing with words like liking. With the passage of time, people will forget what they once liked, but they will remember the hurt. This memory cannot be shielded. Even if you avoid hiding the bird, you can't change it.

Everyone has their own secret wounds in their hearts. Even if they are unbearable, they must live, compromise with the future, and surrender to themselves.

On the distant sea, there was an accident on the oil well working platform. A woman named Hannah came here as a nurse to care for a burned man named Joseph. A sea platform with 7 people and a big white goose without the owner begin a secret life of lonely words.

Watching such a movie, I didn't even think about what the next step would look like. The chef named Simon cooks different meals every day, listens to different music, and takes care of two pots of plants on a lonely platform. I really like Simon's temperament.

A wave surveyor named Martin measures the number of waves hitting the platform every day and studies his favorite mussels as an amateur.

It's raining and the black man is dancing. It's raining. The platform resembles a 1900 piano in the blue-gray water vapor. There was a slow dialogue in the silent room, with the sound of rain and the rushing ocean tide of the whole earth in the background.

The high-altitude shot of rain falling on the sea looks like countless broken silver drops on the sea.

They entertain themselves, they are peaceful and happy, they are lonely but have a good heart. Everyone conveyed something called simple but distant and tranquil.

Is what I want. If possible, I am willing to live on that platform monotonously and repetitively. Will not get bored.

People here are used to and love their loneliness. And everyone can only have his own share of loneliness.

Hannah said nothing. She said that she was deaf and turned off her hearing aid when she didn't want to hear.

But Hannah finally opened her mouth to pour out a secret she couldn't speak to Joseph. And Joseph also exchanged secrets about his liking for his friend's wife.

In the end, they comforted each other and spent the rest of their lives together, and maybe from now on they can achieve peace of mind.

I really like the conversation between Hannah and Simon swinging on the platform.

Hannah~hmm, what? nothing.

Simon~yes, what? nothing.

They simply repeated this conversation.

I don’t like war, so I don’t want to say what the massacre in the movie left Hannah?

But I was fortunate that Joseph finally found Hannah. After Hannah said that one day, he might shed a lot of tears, flooding the entire room, and dragging you down and drowning. Joseph said: I will learn to swim. Hannah walked towards him.

I like this ending. People who are so lonely have to be with those who are so lonely to warm each other, and this is something that others cannot understand and understand.

(A piece of information: The genocide in the Balkans in the 1990s seems to be rarely mentioned in China. This history is probably about Bosnia’s withdrawal from the Yugoslav Federation in 1992, which triggered a civil war between the Muslims and the Serbian people in the country. Two hundred thousand people lost their lives and millions of refugees were left homeless. There were killings, murders, injuries, rapes, snatches, tortures, kidnappings, illegal detentions and extermination of Bosnians.)

Watching this movie I thought of "At Sea The Pianist, "The British Patient".

There are also many favorite bands in the movie.

The Secret Life of Words quotes

  • Victor: He doesn't like to be with the others. He's a loner, too.

Hanna: There are many of us.

  • Josef: I thought um, you and I, maybe we could go away somewhere. Together. One of these days. Today. Right now. Come with me.

Hanna: No, I don't think that's going to be possible.

    Josef: Why not?

Hanna: Um, because I think that if we go away to someplace together, I'm afraid that, ah, one day, maybe not today, maybe, maybe not tomorrow either, but one day suddenly, I may begin to cry and cry so very much that nothing or nobody can stop me and the tears will fill the room and I won't be able to breath and I will pull you down with me and we'll both drown.

Josef: I'll learn how to swim, Hanna. I swear, I'll learn how to swim.
