first time I saw the 7 Oscars in 1962 was when I was on a business trip in Taiyuan.
Great movies have common characteristics. The lens language is very powerful, and it can capture those who are appreciative in a very short period of time.
Even though the pictures played in the hotel were inferior, I was fascinated by it after only a few seconds of watching it.
The story is simple. An illegitimate British officer devoted himself to the battlefield in the Middle East during the First World War and created his personal and beyond personal achievements. As a British officer, he was called the Lawrence of Arabia.
But the movie is very complicated. Lawrence, as a person destined to be extraordinary, has transformed from a weird and neurotic mid-level officer into a slightly divine role.
With a strong will, he completed tasks that others could not imagine.
Let's see what he has done, using his own power to persuade the divided Arab tribes to travel a long distance and complete a strategic surprise attack. Driven the Turkish forces out of the Middle East, and then insisted on crossing the desert to Egypt alone, when the tribal leader questioned his madness: you want to cross the Sinai desert by yourself? ! ! Bring the kids? ! ! What did he answer?
Moses did!
At the same time he realized that he was unusual, his strong spirit and magnificent sense of mission slowly made him regard himself as a god: while a dying enemy was shooting him continuously at close range, he finished Metamorphosis.
When the first bullet hit his arm, he stood up slightly in horror, but still bravely faced the enemy who was still aiming at him. The enemy continued to shoot at him, then fired again,..., but none of them hit.
In this short process, he completed the transformation from man to god. At first, he only brought the fanatical emotions of effectively imitating the ancestors, and still had the fear of death, but then he not only stopped being afraid of the enemy's shooting at him, but enjoyed the scene exceptionally! He realized-God is really looking after him!
After that, he abandoned all his fears and doubts, even if he was on the streets where patrols were coming and going in the enemy's city, he dared to ignore the presence of the enemy and pass through them!
God is looking after him so that the enemy can't see him at all! He thinks so firmly.
He fought for the Arab nation to regain Damascus, although there was great division and suffering in spirit, he even withdrew. But he finally completed this great mission and died after returning to the ordinary.
Lawrence, as a visible miracle, exists in real history and movies.
This is why I love this movie.
